    • High quality and heavy duty
These heavy right-angle brackets are manufactured to high quality standards. I inspected all fifteen brackets and found zero flaws or inconsistencies. The angles were all ninety degrees. The powder coat finishes were all flawless, and there was no greasy residue which sometimes occurs with heavy duty hardware. The brackets were all individually wrapped to protect against scratches, but given the high quality powder coat finish I think scratching quite unlikely even without the protection. I will use some of these brackets to reinforce beam and rafter joints in a living space with a vaulted ceiling with exposed, varnished beams. They are absolutely perfect for this application and I'm tickled that they not only are amply heavy-duty for the job, but also very attractive so they do not detract aesthetically. The only potential issue I see with this product is a language one. While the product description claims these are "galvanized" I think that is a failed translation to English. I've never heard of galvanized hardware also being powder-coated and cannot imagine the need because powder-coating of this quality obviates the need for (an inferior) zinc galvanic finish. Great product. At a unit cost of a bit more than $2, considering that they are thick, stiff, manufactured to high quality control, and given a top quality powder coat, I rate this product five stars.
