So, this morning I was telling my friend Bob about this product. He says "a what?" Bob and I are older folks...older than most folks, so as we get longer in the tooth, our bodies change and our needs change. I expressed to Bob that I just wasn't feeling fresh down there after necessary bodily functions. Baby wipes weren't doing the job with skin irritation and the funny looks in the store shopping for them. Soooooo, I kept hearing about bidets and found this "Portable Bidet for Toilet" and decided to give it a try. So, Bob was asking me questions. Personal questions. Like "how do you use it?" So, I tried to explain and, knowing Bob is a little sensitive about my use of the vernacular, felt compelled to take a picture of the directions and send them to him. I definitely will attach those directions later.....worth the money just to read those directions. Bob started laughing. So, in between his chortles, he asked something about aiming the device and I explained it is much like sighting in a gun. If you are shooting too high or low, you just adjust. If the water is too cold, then this can result in the possibility of personal injury should you levitate above the stool. But, butt, I just feel so fresh! There definitely is a learning curve. I love the portability and will stick one in my pocket if I am going out. Some will say, "Are you excited to see me, or is that a portable bidet in your pocket?" (I don't really put it in my pocket, Bob just insisted I put this in a review if I wrote one since that statement made him guffaw raucously.) But, back to the device. I like it. The purple color goes with the veins in my legs, and it is easy to use. I highly recommend. Read the directions. I will try to attach appropriate pictures. Follow up: I bought two more. My wife got the bidet toilet seat and loves it, but I prefer using this because the regular one requires extra drying for me and “the boys.” Now I have enough for both bathrooms north and south homes. I took on a trip but TSA told me I had to empty it first. 😆 ... show more

Simple to use was needed. Only drawback is I have to fill it each time just before use so that the water is warm. Room temp would probably be fine in the summer but winter time not so much.

I've read some reviews that said this should not be marketed as a bidet, but I totally disagree! I was very pleasantly surprised that this works 100 times better than the portable, battery operated bidets. The battery operated ones broke down in just a couple of months and I had to return them... And they spray a very thin stream of water that does not rinse very well when you use them. I did not find that the battery operated bidet saved me any time or toilet paper whatsoever... However, this handheld/ portable bidet shoots a wider stream of water and gets the job done... And it is powerful enough to wash away any residue... The key here is to squeeze the bidet and then release; allowing the bidet to fill out with air again/ then repeat. It is compact, comes with a little bag. But don't lose. the washer that goes in the nozzle assembly. It must have fallen out, and it makes the device leak as you use it. Kinda annoying, but decent quality otherwise.

Considering a bidet but don't want to have to mess with plumbing OR don't want to use cold water? This is the perfect option for you! I bought my husband a bidet attachment for the toilet 4 years ago on Amazon...it still sits uninstalled in our bathroom. His excuse is "I don't want cold water to wash my butt." So in lieu of a much pricier bidet attachment that heats up water AND the benefit of a bidet we could take on vacation with us anywhere, I purchased this product. Let me tell you, it's amazing. I have never felt cleaner after going number two. My word of advice is to use warm water from the tap, and you might need to use the entire spray bottle for cleaning. I tried to use half the first time and it didn't clean very well, so use more water than you think you need, one full bottle is all it takes most times. Then just dab the excess water off with a little bit of TP and you're gonna feel like a million bucks. Also serves as a peri bottle for post partum cleaning too. Just buy it already! ... show more
