  • LOVE LOVE LOVE
Although they don’t have as long of a battery life as the original canon batteries, these were great! Quick charging and work fantastic!

  • Batteries have good life but cause and error on my Canon R7
The batteries hold a good charge and I don't notice much difference in life compared with the OEM Canon battery. Still good for hundreds of shots, and 2 batteries will definitely last the day for me. However, these batteries will occasionally trigger an error, which is cleared by turning the camera off then on again. I would say the error appears once every 300 shots, give or take - it's a minor convenience, but potentially could cause you to miss your shot if it happens at a bad time. As such, I use the Canon battery as my primary battery and keep these two as backups in my bag or in my pocket. So overall, they work well, but just be aware that they may periodically throw an error on your camera. ... show more

  • Good and cheap LP-E6 batteries, work as expected!
Good, cheap batteries to have on hand for emergencies. Good to have around if you need them in a rush or have to share batteries with other photographers at an event you're working. The charger is cheap/slow but it too will do if it's the only one you have on hand. In my shooting, these don't seem to lose capacity any faster than my other batteries. These batteries might be using lesser quality cells when compared to OEM batteries but that's the tradeoff for getting two batteries at a fraction of the cost of one OEM battery. I have also not found any issues with the sizing of these batteries, they seem to be made to spec and go in and out of my Canon bodies without issue. Tone reviewer who mentioned issues seems to have the orange lock engaged on the battery which holds it in place so I suspect that might be why the batteries are "stuck" -- watch the video. At $27, these are a cheap and effective way to have some spare batteries around. Are they the highest quality? Probably not, but they'll do fine in a jiffy and frankly at this price point, that's exactly what you should be expecting. ... show more

  • Batteries are surprisingly heavy.
Loaned a friend my 80D and they unfortunately left the battery and charger in another country. As an apology, they gave me their AC-to-battery adapter so I can use it for content creation. As such, I figured I would give these a try and see how they do. The batteries are surprisingly heavy which bodes well for their capacity claim. The charger can also accept USB-C or Micro-USB which is kind of great. At first I thought one might be input and the other output. But what I found is that the positive and negatives of both USB slots appear to be connected. I have the USB-C plugged into a charger, and a micro-USB plugged into my USB power meter and the meter is powered on. But when I unplug the USB-C from the charger, everything shuts off. So you can't use the batteries as a USB power bank. So yes, both ports on the top are technically inputs. Unloaded voltage of the charger is 13v, but then again, that's not unusual for no-load readings. I don't detect any signs of over-voltage going on with the batteries at the moment. The batteries are a little more snug in the camera than the OEM which might explain why one reviewer mentioned them getting stuck. But so far, in the camera, they seem to be okay. I would recommend not leaving the batteries in the camera when not in use in the event they do swell. I've never had it happen with OEM, but it's not unheard of with OEM or aftermarket. Rare, but not impossible. So, batteries feel nice and heavy, charger is seemingly capable and light. Oh, the charge also has a little indicator screen showing you charge state as opposed to just a red or green light. ... show more

  • Good set if you want the USB-C charging option
I've owned a Canon 6D for many years and have used various generic batteries with it. Recently, I was searching for new batteries along with a charger that supports USB-C input. This set includes both a micro-USB port (which is outdated) and a USB-C port, with USB-C charging being its main feature. There's a slight difference from the original Canon batteries I've used. Canon's original battery is rated at 7.2V 1800mAh, while these generics are 7.4V 2600mAh. Based on my understanding of batteries, it seems these generics may have a higher capacity than the originals, though I'm skeptical about trusting the claims and labels of these brands. Aside from this, these generic batteries don't offer any unique features beyond what's commonly available on Amazon. It's worth noting that, like many other generic batteries, these are not UL certified and lack the UL logo. In comparison, Canon batteries are UL certified. Using non-UL certified batteries carries a risk—should they fail inside your expensive camera, it could potentially necessitate replacing the entire camera. Therefore, I only use these as backups, typically when I forget to charge my primary batteries. I'll update this review if I encounter any issues, but so far, I'm satisfied with their performance. ... show more

  • Not good quality, issues charging
I have had issues with these batteries charging to a full charge. Also getting error on camera occasionally saying I need to take battery out and put back in. No issues with other brands.
