The media could not be loaded. I was a bit worried, since I accidentally bought an exhaust fan instead of a cooling fan, but we just mounted it backwards and it blows nicely! The downside is that ANY small shadow really reduces the blowing power, so even if a leaf were to fall on it, the speed decreases to the point of really not blowing at all. I use these fans up in our cabin, where we are 100% off grid solar. During the day when the sun is shining bright, the fans provide air. You can turn them around and have air come into the house however you must be careful not to touch the fins. They are exposed on the opposite side. I have some of them, pulling the air in and some of them pulling the hot air out. I do recommend. They will only work when the sun is in full force. ... show more

Placed it in a chicken coop, the hens love it, noticeable drop in temperature. I installed it blowing out, it drags air through the coop. You do need vents on the opposing wall if you don't already have them. It only runs when the sun is out, but rain and wind don't bother it. This fan functions but does not move enough volume of air to affect the temperature in our greenhouse. Might be effective in a dog house or very small chicken house. Good luck.
