Alright so I'm aware that some of the biggest issue with this product is 1) the double sided adhesion stickers and 2) squished/flattened fpam panels. I found the best way to address peeling the covered side of the sticky pads is to actually rip it. The pads themselves have some stretch to them, so you can actually gently rip the covered covered portion to allow you get a better grip on it. Once you try it, you'll understand. (Don't try and peel it, try gently ripping the yellow paper and it'll be way easier to manage) As for the squished panels that don't seem to inflate, another reviewer mentioned that if you run it under some water (warm or otherwise) it'll inflate just like the others. I had a really flat one that might as well have been 1" or .5 inches but after running it under some water, it inflated like a sponge. You can squeeze the excess water and just set it outside in the sun to dry off. (or use paperwork towels, whatever you have). Great product and came as intended. May update my review in terms of sound absorption. ('m aware this isn't a noise cancelling product, those cost way more). ... show more

I have ordered two packs of these. They arrive vacuum packed and flat. The first pack took a couple days to expand out to the 2 inch depth. Some of the pieces didn't expand the whole way. The second package popped out to the 2 in depth within minutes! So fun to watch. :) Easy to install. I'm still hanging them in my booth, so I don't know about sound mitigation yet. ... show more

These are good. We put them in an extra bedroom that we turned into a drum room for my husband. We live in a 1400 sq ft home. So, it really helped a lot when we put these up. It brought the sound down. We also wanted to be respectful of our neighbors. Which it has helped.

    • Adhesive tape does not work well

The product itself is as you would except, what I did not see coming was the extremely cheap adhesive tape that makes hanging these near impossible. I used a razor blade to make a small incision and then remove the tape on the back and took extreme care not to get my fingers on the tape out of fear it would effect how long the adhesive lasted. This was all for naught as by the time I had returned from the walking my dog half of the squares I had spent an hour and a half hanging had fallen down onto the ground. I’ve now spent an additional $12 ordering proper adhesive tape. My suggestion, lower the price and advise us to buy tape or raise the price and include real tape. This currently benefits no one and just wastes the installers time not to mention the tape itself. ... show more

I was looking for a solution for my office at work, I have a large office 20x30, and in that room, there is a closet that houses the Breakers and such for the entire building, one of the pieces of equipment in there was quite loud, giving off a constant loud electrical buzzing, Sounded almost as loud as a phone vibrating on a desk 20 ft away or so, but constant. I found these on Amazon. I thought, for the money, they were worth the shot. I installed them this afternoon and shut the closet door; this took the sound from a noticeable audible level to a very faint hum, no louder than the mini fridge in my office; in fact, I never noticed the fridge sound before, and now I do. My neighbor has an annoying little dog that they leave out side to nonstop yelp, whine and bark. As I work nights and sleep during the day, mentioning it to them did nothing. I bought these to put over my window hoping it would help some. It helped!! Now it doesn’t sound like he is outside my window anymore, it’s a faint like he’s down the street bark and whine. I had no issues with the adhesive , I liked they are black, I already had blackout curtains these helped with the little slits of light that were coming through. I opened my package and spread the foam out on my mattress for a few days but the panels didn’t recover to their original shape. I put them in the clothes dryer on low for 15 minutes and they expanded perfectly. I didn’t try the adhesive that came with the panels, i used 3M 90 spray adhesive to mount to a 1/4” plywood panel. ... show more
