My only experience is with this and the original Friday Pickleball paddle. The Friday had a bit more power and surface grit but this takes the cake on control, sweet spot and swing weight. Very solid paddle for the price point, it feels good in the hand. The face of the paddle is medium. It can generate a modest amount of spin but nothing crazy. There’s not much to dislike about this paddle. The appearance and design of it is unmatched if that’s a must for you. There are many designs to choose from, but obviously that’s not going to enhance your play. This paddle is very light weight and easy to use so for someone new to the game of pickleball, I think this paddle could be ideal. However, this paddle was not the optimal choice for my wife and I as we had gotten used to playing with thicker paddles so we felt this one required more force. We got the paddle as we were intrigued by the hybrid surface, but we could tell little difference when comparing it to other carbon fiber paddles we own. As far as value for money, I think that they are better options out there if you are on a budget. I think that would be my biggest takeaway. Like you can’t judge a book by its cover…The stylish face designs on this paddle doesnt warrant the price tag in my opinion when factoring in the performance. ... show more
