This paddle in general has improved my game greatly. It has a great pop, while also being gritty enough to put some real spin on the ball, but the stock grip is unacceptable. Not really sure how it could be any slicker. I’ve had $20 paddles that had grips way better than this. Easy fix switching it out or using over grips, but for being such a reputable and high end Pickleball company I was very surprised by this. ... show more

I’m an intermediate level player who started out w a $29 paddle and after 2 years of playing, I needed to move up to a higher quality paddle. I had notice most of the better players had Selkirk paddles and I’m really happy w mine. The grip is excellent and the paddle weight and face lead to excellent control.     • Bigger sweet spot, and it makes you work on your swing

I'm short and I've found this paddle helpful for getting digs/saves. The sweet spot is easy to find, but only if you do a full swing. If you're dinking over the net it's like CLONK CLONK CLONK. Significantly nicer upgrade from the cheap $15 Amazon branded paddles, without the cost of a Joola.

My first paddle was the Latitude 2.0 and while acceptable, it isn't very forgiving on mishits. Any ball hitting away from the center of it would drop it's power very quickly. The EVO 2.0 is far more forgiving on off center hits. I went for the Control XL for the longer handle and added control the thicker core gives me. I have plenty of natural power from golf/baseball/gymnastics that I can power the ball well past the court if I'm not careful. My drop shots on my very first game with this paddle were nearly perfect. Great bang for buck! ... show more
