I had bought my husband the older version when he was a long term patient in a VA hospital. He recently passed away. When I brought his belongings home they had lost the piece that propped the clock up. I decided to order this 2024 version and absolutely love it. All I had to do was remove it from the box, plug it in and it was already set to the correct date and time. Love that it has a symbol that indicates current weather status. Love it so much I'm ordering a 2nd one for another room of the house. I highly recommend this clock. My husband had dementia and it really helped him keep track of the date and time much better.     • Keeps my mother-in-law from calling at 3am!

My mother-in-law is suffering from dementia and has has a hard time knowing the time/date. She can't read/understand her analog clocks anymore (she calls them "crazy clocks" because they make no sense to her). This, on the other hand, is easy for her to read and understand. It has also stopped her phone calls at 3am "just to chat" because she didn't realize what time it was. You can also set up multiple alarms and display things like "Take your pills" or "Eat Lunch", so it helps keep her days on track. Pros: Easy to set up, easy to read, keeps mother-in-law from calling while I'm sleeping. Cons: Mother-in-law still calls, but at least it's during daylight hours now, so it's better (slightly) ... show more

I ordered this clock for my dad who had to move to a nursing home in December. He loved the clock and it helped him stay oriented. Unfortunately, the clock stopped working in August. I reached out to customer service and was quickly responded to by Vicky Z. She asked for my order number and date of purchase but before I could send it to her, she had looked it up in their Amazon data base, found the order and sent me a new clock. I received the new clock within a week and feel like I made a friend with Vicky through our emails. I would highly recommend this company as it stands behind their products and offered a very quick replacement without my having to request one!
