I've piloted ROVs in the ocean and caves for quite a while. The FiFish V6 is like my wish list for features and abilities was read by Qysea! Video and Image quality is incredible. Maneuverability is more than I could ask for. I feel like I can really control my footage to get the exact shoot I wanted. I've barely utilized all the great features and look forward to how all of them can knock my video footage up quite a few notches. Its built to be tough enough to handle serious use. At one point I felt there was something wrong with my V6. I contacted Qysea and got an immediate response. The customer support was very polite, helpful and top notch.     • Not useable with retrevial attachments.
I love practically everything about this drone, as it is my first underwater drone, I’ve never used another one before. It was a big buy for me and I am happy with it. However, I’m so disappointed that in the description the seller was not clear that with the model I bought, any retrevial accessories were not compatible with it. I did some research and only found that I would not be able to use the grabber arm attachtment. However I was fully sure that I would be able to buy the dozer attachment. I know it’s my mistake on not verifying what was compatible, however when looking around I literally couldn’t find anything that said I wouldn’t be able to use any of the retrevial attachments. This seller needs to be clear on that fact. Even if it sways people away from buying it. After using the drone twice so far that is my only disappointment, an $1800 disappointment because now it’s not excactly the product I thought I was buying. There are three models of the FIFISH v6, from what I’ve seen now there’s, FIFISH v6-base model FIFISH v6s-next model up, that’s capable of those underwater retrevial attachments. FIFISH v6plus-top model, I’m not sure everything that is different with this model ^^^^^^^^my opinion from what I’ve read^^^^^^^^ I may be incorrect that the plus is top model. I’d like to reccend this product but from the fact they were not clear about the base model not having any applicable retrevial attachments, leads me too believe it was intential by the company/seller. I use it in the rivers of Pittsburgh and this thing is AWESOME. Extremely responsive and crystal clear footage. Cannot wait to buy the even better models! Definitely a good starter though.

UPDATE Customer support did finally get back with me and decided to send out a new tether which I just received. This one seems to work as it should. The ROV behaves like it should and It should get a higher rating except for the fact that a poor design in the cable reel caused the cable to wrap on itself and split. This was only after using the ROV 2 times in shallow dives. I contacted customer support who initially replied quickly with a video showing me how i can try and fix the problem. After I told them it was unacceptable and asked for a replacement reel they never replied again. Can I fix it? Probably. Should I have to fix it? NO! not after such minimal use doing exactly what it was designed for. For the price, this is not a toy. I planned to use it as part of my biz so the upfront cost was acceptable. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong because I know I can't rely on customer support. QYSEA Customer Support. I'm still waiting for your reply. You have my email and direct phone number. I bough this back in 2022. I have used 4 times since then and now the camera has stopped working. I have reached out to Qysea twice now and have heard not response just an automated message. I woudn't buy from these guys again there is zero customer service.

Received my new much anticipated fifish V-Evo today but I'm a bit disappointed. While considering between the m2 chasing and the fifish, i decided on the latter and am thinking i made a mistake. I paid an additional 300.00 for the grabber arm attachment only to find that it will neither close nor open. I can hear that the motor is operational but no movement exists. I tried to contact the support numbers listed on the website however, all of which are disconnected. I contacted Amazon (an automated assistant) over the phone and was advised that I'd have to return it for a refund because there were no more units available although there in no mention of this on their site. Also, because I financed it, if I want to re-purchase it I'll need to wait for over a month for the money to be released back to the creditor before I can go back through affirm to buy it again. I bought it to take with us on a family trip of under water exploration. While im diving, my wife and kids would use the submersible. So that completely ruins the purpose of the trip entirely. If I have to return this I will not be repurchasing it. I will not be recommending it to anyone in our dive club nor on any dive trips that I attend. If I'm paying 1600.00 for something I would expect technical service, customer service, and someone who can give me options other than "send it back." I don't mean to sound so harsh but all I can think about is how I am to deliver to my children the bad news, as they have been looking forward to taking this trip with me.. Received my unit and contacted Qysea regarding a missing item. They acted immediately and provided the item in question. Top shelf customer service on the issue. Being in the mid-west, all of the bodies of water are frozen, so I cannot offer a review on the functionality of the drone/rov, but I will say that I am super impressed with the quality and feel of the entire kit! I am excited to get the unit out and test it.... need the ice to thaw. I will update this review once I get the opportunity to use the drone.
