So far I have only used it on a snowblower battery. It was easy to attach and recognized the type of battery and charged it appropriately. Once full it shut down the charging with no issues. I have not tried it on a car battery yet, but like I said it did recognized the correct battery. I also put it on a fully charged battery and it also recognized it appropriately and said it was fully charged, which is was. What I like the most is the size. It is light weight and has the right small size to fit right under the hood. There are areas to clip the positive and negative terminals right on the charger so it stores a lot cleaner. It also has an acceptable length cord to plug into the wall. So far so good and will update if this changes with more use. ... show more

Really cool product and must have if you’re in a single car family. I had a dead car in my garage and very happy to have this in my garage. It’s easy to use and will show up with an error if you connect the prongs incorrectly. Literally idiot proof. Easily recognized the battery and gave it a jump for it to start and get the car out. I’m not sure if quick charging was good or bad sho I went with medium charge as that seemed the safest. ... show more

I tried using this charger on a LiFePO4 battery, and within 10 seconds of reaching 14V, it stopped charging and indicated the battery was full. Clearly, it is not designed for LiFePO4 batteries. I then tested it on a 24V lead-acid battery. Again, within 10 seconds of reaching 26V, it claimed the battery was fully charged. This product is completely unreliable. The overall build quality feels cheap. Even removing the twist ties required extra caution to avoid damaging the wiring. I’m returning this item—don’t waste your time or money on it. ... show more
