    • Runs like new!
If your mower is "hunting" when it runs (rpm goes up and down), odds are that you have a dirty carburetor. Try to clean it first, or save time and just replace it. I tried cleaning and it helped some, but replacing took less time and now my 12 year old mower runs like new!

Carb fits and runs well after replacing the last replacement carb that failed after initially running well. Will keep my fingers crossed. Update... After a couple hours the engine started misfiring and only running poorly with the choke engaged. .

    • These are junk parts. Second one I ordered. The butterfly choke will not close.
Tried to install this junk carb and the choke will not close. It’s stuck in the open position. This is the second one I’ve ordered from this supplier. Don’t bother.

    • Replacement carb kit
The kit includes all the commonly needed parts to freshen up the engine while replacing the carburetor. I suspect the carb isn’t jetted just right for my 19hp Kohler Command engine. Engine starts and runs but not smooth as it should be. Seems a bit richer fuel mixture.
