I definitely suggest this product for HOME use (daily production use idk). If i was still working production I'd get a liquid guage Milton: lifetime quality ~ $65. For HOME garage? $65 is overkill: more product than i can ever use. A Milton Made in USA pencil guage and a Tire Chuck is exactly all i need ~ < $20 for both. I've tried the long chuck and it's pleasant to use. I can't testify to durability or repairability - but i think it's easy to replace seal which is incredible for a $10 (chinese) item. Durability: it has weight: it's not cheasy. Also these Tire Chuck do NOT require an airflow gun: simply press it on the tire. I had a chinese tire inflator guage ($30-$35) and it got hose rot (after sitting in water days) and leaky seals. TheWYNNsky Bayonet Style. The metal bayonett guage stopped "popping out sometimes" after only 1.2 years shop use btw, but worked "kinda" until hose rotted. no seals available and with shipping costs too much to replace hose and seals (more than new). So that's a bad problem for "bayonette". The bayonette stops working and is impossible to find replacement for unless the "the tooltruck guy" does it for you. i lived with that for years glad to be rid of the "press many times to pop" bayonette. ... show more

    • Reasonable chuck set for gemeral use
I bought this chuck set bc it's a reasonable quality for my use. I don't run a tire store or a have a flat fixing service. I need to air tires up though sometimes. The sturdy construction of this chuck set satisfies my requirements for quality and durability. It's also was priced reasonably.

Hard time finding something that fir my mower tires in a tight space, works perfect. Attaches to compressor hose easy, no issues.

    • You'll benefit from your own thread tape or dope
Let me start by saying the brass parts are of good quality so no issue there. However, the thread tape that's included with the package is very, very thin (thinner than tissue paper) and is subsequently difficult to use. If you want to seal your threads, get some legit thread tape in the plumbing section of your local hardware store or else get a tube of pipe dope (thread sealant). I got started with the included roll of thread tape but ended up throwing it in the trash and using some real stuff I had on hand. ... show more
