I used a bread end to try out the bagel function on #3 and the end side was soft while the bread side despite not having that (toast) color was flacky and crusty. Very nice #4 with the bagel function switched off browned the toast much more, but fairly evenly without burning. The countdown timer is the best thing I didn't know I needed in my life so bad, gone is the jack in the box surprise of toast. Tiny thing, rather than rose gold handle on the side I would have preferred more silver, but it's not very noticable. Pleased with purchase thus far ... show more

My favorite thing about this toaster, in addition to it being absolutely adorable, is the timer. It’s so much easier to time cooking eggs or other food to go along with whatever I’m toasting when I know how long the toast will take. I also like the range of “toastiness”. The media could not be loaded. Some parts look a little cheap and flimsy and the bottom slider foot has already fallen off after just a couple weeks use and with it barely being used. Otherwise it was inexpensive so I didn’t expect much.

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited as this toaster is my exact aesthetic, but disappointed as it does not work properly! I’ve only gotten it to toast 2 separate times. Each time I have to fiddle with the plug in. It does not toast! Yes, I know it’s not my plug sockets. I am sad:( It turns on, but the lever does not lock. Maybe it’s my specific toaster, but I would avoid getting or prepare to return ... show more

Toaster works great. Very pretty, however, I was disappointed in the chrome trim. In the pictures, it looks like gold trim. I decided to keep it since I couldn't find an affordable black and gold one.

The first week it toasted bread nicely. Even toasting on both sides of bread on level "3". I cant seen to get it to toast English muffins! I finally had to use a level " 6" 2 times to get it toasted - that's just way too long. Cant even imagine how long it would take with a bagel! Though it's very attractive I'm disappointed with this purchase. Something just isnt right. ... show more
