They make it easy to paint fake nails and I like the look of them. However, the plastic is very thin and lightweight and the base isn't too sturdy. Most notably the magnets just kinda popped right out of the "fingers" the first time I was using them and so I had to glue them back in. I thought it would be able to hold these fake nails I bought, but the nails kept falling off. I did not like this product. Also the holders for the nails fall off the magnet base.
