I ordered these wireless microphones to use for my very first YouTube video and I can honestly say that they were what I expected and beyond. I recorded a video that was approximately 50 minutes long and the audio quality turned out great. I only put 4 stars for sound cancellation because at one point during the video, a plane can be heard flying over the building though the noise is not too loud. Other than that, the microphones are perfect - they are wireless, which makes them easy to use on the go for anything ranging from vlogs, voiceovers, podcasts, social media posts, etc. Additionally, they don't need any complicated installation - you simply plug in and connect to whatever device you are using and you are good to go. Due to a spinal cord injury I lost sensory function in my right hand and part of my right arm which completely destroyed my previous ability to write and type. We rely heavily on the sensory function of proprioception to do both and I use both daily for work. As a pediatric physical therapist I need to type LOTS of data and information for medical documentation and billing purposes but since I learned to type completely dependent on clear information from my proprioceptive sensors in the joints of my hands/wrists I can no longer use typing to document as I can no longer utilize the motor plans previously established when I learnded to type back in high school - so I began a long journey of trying to find a microphone that I could use to dictate the information I needed typed into multiple portals and websites... after MANY failed one or more areas of accurately capturing spoken words, ability to use in multiple environments including while on the road, ease of use to connect to device, and power source required and abiity to charge batteries for use away from a wall outlet. I needed a way to record audio for two people during an interview. This product was very easy to use -- just insert the receiving device in an iPhone or iPad port and clip the microphones to each person's lapel. The recorded audio is clear and it did not pick up the other person's voice even though both were in the same room and 5 feet apart. Very easy to use. Plug the receiver into the bottom of the phone. Remember to turn on the Lapel Microphone. Binds automatically. Open Voice-Recorder and record. Couldn't be easier. Important to understand that the receiver that is plugged into the bottom of the iPhone does not have a battery so it doesn't need charging. Used the mics the other day for the first time. Absolutely could not be easier. Plug it into the bottom of the iPhone. Put the mic on and talk away. It is very sensitive so using an "inside voice" is necessary. While shooting outside a plane flew overhead and when I checked the audio of that particular shot, it was great. I love these mics I use them to record outside visuals for my podcast. However, when I tried to use the charger cord to charge my phone while I used the mic and it wouldn’t fit into the space. So I can’t use it but I guess I can keep my phone charged 🤷🏽♂️
