I read the negative reviews, and I must confess i am an experienced welder, so it wouldnt bother me much because i can fix anything if they came with an issue. However out of the box these were perfect, they are light years better than the ramps I had before and the lift is significantly higher. I can easily do fluid film treatments with these. The design is rather brilliant. These are also very easy to upgrade (at least from a welders point of view) ] ---Always put the car in first gear, that way you can slowly creep up the ramp, if you put it in drive, you will have to rev the RPMs up so high that when you finally get the momentum to drive up, you will be moving too fast, then, you will have to jam the brakes and that will cause any ramp to slide, or even buckle. All the lateral weight of the vehicle gets transferred into vertical weight....and no ramp is designed for that. I have seen people destroy ramps, and claim its the ramps fault i figured I just had to mention this. ... show more

Great for the price and I've used them on quite a few jobs ranging from small cars to larger trucks with no issues. If you get these make sure to reverse one of the piston jacks which is simple and only required a screwdriver and wrench. I did it in barely a minute.

    • It is a good ramp, but I don't trust the jacks

The ramp itself is great. I have had my 19 F150 on them as well as an 82 rabbit for about a month or so. The welds on the ramp aren't the greatest, but they are good enough that I feel confident they won't break under load. The major issue I have with these ramps is that the jacks are very unstable. They work off a 2 post system, and the tolerance for each post is about a 1/4 inch bigger radius than the post itself. This causes huge shifts in the weight on the post, and it is very unstable. On top of that, there is not a good way to lift the ramps, and hold them at height, due to the same issue stated previously. It is very unstable everywhere except no lift. ... show more

I want to thank Amazon and the supplier as my ramps just arrived 8 DAYS EARLY!!!! They were supposed to get here on the 9th but they are here now on the morning of the 2nd!! What service. They appear to be well made and will make my life much easier and safer. Think of how much faster, safer, and easier it will be just do a routine oil change! Or replacing brakes. I have to replace the anti-sway bar bushings on the front and rear of our Jeep Liberty. No Jack. No jack stands. I may need to replace the oil pan gasket on my Chevrolet Silverado. These will cut the time (and aggravation) in half. I will add some pictures after I put them to use. ... show more
