  • An amazing deal

So I bought these cords for my boyfriend. He is a guitarist and his guitar cords were broken. The sound quality through these chords has been amazing and has blown me away for the price I paid for them. They're durable and well made and I would honestly recommend these to anybody getting some amp cords. You just cannot beat this buy ... show more

  • Pretty normal braided sheath cables. Not good for carrying power
Size: 10 FT Style: Straight-2 Pack Color: Black
These guitar cables are exactly as expected. The 1/4 inch connectors are decent as is the cable. They work fine as guitar cables. That said, I prefer cables with a thick rubbery outer cover and with thick wires inside. Those are the cables that last forever, work for anything, and that you end up loving. This pair of cables… yeah. They work and yeah I use them, but I don’t trust them. I always have spares – and at this price points it’s no problem to have lots of spares. Also – do >>NOT<< use these between amp head and speaker. The wires are too thin. ... show more

  • Solid Construction And A Great Value
Size: 10 FT Style: Straight-2 Pack Color: Black
When I ordered these I didn't know what to expect. The price point indicated the old school no frills cables that you could find in just about any music store many years ago. For the most part generic cables have disappeared from the market so when I ordered these I thought that the worst case scenario was that I'd have a couple of back-up cables for emergencies. When they arrived I was more than pleasantly surprised. I hadn't seen this type of cable in years. The cables are well made. They are a little smaller in circumference to other cables, a feature shared with the old school generic cables. The difference was in the weave. It is seemingly strong enough to withstand getting run over as well as stepped on which will inevitably happen over the life of the cables. They have a good strong feel to them. Another feature that I always favor is that the cables are open-ended. The most vulnerable part of an instrument cable is the tip. All it takes is one misstep and the tip is done. With the open-ended cables you can remove the jacks on both ends and replace them if necessary saving you the cost of having to buy a whole new cable. The quarter inch jacks are soldered to the cable and then shrink-wrapped in standard sheathing. You will have to remove the wrapping when replacing the jacks but all you'll need to put it back together is some heat applied shrink-wrap and you're back in business. All the parts are up to standard and are expertly put together. The signal is clean and clear with no buzzing. I prefer ten foot cables for their cleaner signal. I ran the cables through a few guitars, a bass, and two keyboards all with the same quiet performance. I even used one to connect two separate amplifiers and cabinets and while they are not really engineered for speaker specs they performed the task without a hitch making them a versatile and decent option in a bind particularly when you're on the road when disasters happen most often. Even the tap test was quiet and when I put it on the meter it indicated a clean signal. The workmanship is superior, the price point is more than fair, and the construction is solid. These cables are the same kind and quality of those old school generic cables that used to be in every store from the 1970's to the 1990's. These days there are just too many companies touting the name without the extra quality and that makes these cables not only a good deal but a rare one. I am wholly satisfied with what I received and I fully expect them to last for years just like the old ones did. I'll take the quality and value of a true workhorse over a brand name any day. I don't need the bells and whistles, I need my equipment to perform to standard. I recommend these for any musician who cares about the quality of their gear over what is really nothing more than a marketing scheme based on hype to inflate prices without the added value. It's disgraceful. I recommend you get these while you can. Two high quality cables for less than the price of one brand name cable is a value that should not be ignored. I am quite satisfied with what I received and I'm sure you will be too. ... show more
