This adjustable bike hanger works exactly as I needed. You are able to adjust the distance from the wall to accommodate multiple widths of handle bars. You can also adjust the angle of the bike to be able to hang multiple bikes in a line. Highly recommend mounting to a stud in order for it to be secure. I am over all super happy with the bike mount. I gave it 4 stars because the assembly instructions were hard to understand. They were a bit confusing and I had to look at the pictures on the listing, in order to see how things went together.     • Pretty well designed and sturdy. For mounting on wall stud or masonry, NOT on plaster wall surface.
This is made well enough, and carefully enough. The little upside down “handlebars” that hold the bike (about 10 inches/28 cm width) have sufficient padding, and plastic plugs in the ends, s0 that you won’t make contact with the metal structure and mar your frame when hanging your bike, unless you’re very incautious (and I will add some duct tape at the “gooseneck”, for added assurance). Angle of the bars is level, and it is adjustable, maybe 15 degrees either way. “Handlebar” tips project 13 inches (33cm) from the wall when it is set as far inward as possible. Finish is good, unclear how long the paint would last if exposed directly to rain. Locks into storage position. You could quibble, it could lock a little closer to the wall, the hardware could be all black, too, but all is good enough. Comes with wood screws, plastic anchors, and expansion screws for masonry. With two attachment points, this should not be used to attach to wallboard, it is appropriate for mounting on a stud, or on concrete/brick with the solid hardware provided – not for wallboard, unless your bike weighs 10 pounds and you’re very careful, always. Mounting on a plaster wall will quickly impress the wallboard, leading to wobbly mounting, or much worse (failure). So, why the plastic anchors are there is a mystery, in my opinion. Comes with a velcro strap that doesn’t seem to be necessary for most bike designs, plus a cruddy little wrench; requires also a 5mm allen key that is not provided (which you probably have in your bike toolkit anyway). Horizontal Bike wall mounts have not being my choice since the introduction of the vertical, swiveling that nowadays even you don't have to lift the bike, you just wheelie the bike on the mount, push it to the side and it's all set, however, life showed me that sometimes you have to take a step backwards, and that's when you don't have enough room on the floor to roll the bike or to even place it vertically but have plenty of room horizontally on the wall. Application and preference aside, this mount was super simple to install and came with everything needed to do so, it adjusts the angle for any type of bike and the extension of the rod to accommodate on proximity to the wall. Looks great and the rubberized coating protects the bike paint. It works great, the craftsmanship and build quality to price relationship is amazing. I love it, even when the type of mount is not my preference, this is a great option if you're looking for an horizontal mount, recommended! ... show more

Out of the box this bike rack seems very simple and didn't look like it would do the job to hold my son's mountain bike. Once installed I was proven wrong. The holes a perfect to be able to line up to the stud and come with long enough screws in order to ensure it holds on well. This rack is very simple to put up so long as you know how to find a stud in your garage if you have it covered and not exposed. The rack is able to change angle so the bike can hang straight as most bike frames can be different now a days. I recommend this rack if you need something simple and effective.     • Really Nice Bike Mount!
This is a very heavy duty, nicely made wall mount for your bicycle. It is made of heavy duty steel with a smooth, nice, black powder coated finish. The portions that your bike hangs on are wrapped in foam rubber to avoid scratches or abrasions. You can adjust the distance from the wall to ensure your bike hangs securely, and as close to the wall as possible. The mount comes with all necessary mounting hardware, and installation was very simple. I located a wood stud in the wall, and screwed directly into that, so the plastic drywall anchors weren't necessary. I am extremely pleased with this mount. Highly recommend! ... show more
