One light works consistently with the remote; the other does not. I’m extremely tech savvy and cannot get these lights to work consistently with either a single remote or one remote per light. The directions are worthless but I can usually figure these things out without them. I may order a second set and see if it’s an issue with one light. These are excellent quality, very well made lights. It took my husband a while to get them installed because he had to run electrical wiring and install a box on the front porch where I wanted them. They are a great size at 40" and put off a lot of light. I love all the different settings and colors. The speed, color, and brightness can be adjusted with the included remote controls.
