I have an old iPad that is still usable for certain work tasks, but the charging cable was shot. I have several other iDevices that use the lightning connector. I saw this adapter and decided to give it a try. Works great with one caveat… if it doesn’t start charging, flip the position of lightning connector. For some reason, it will not charge my old iPad with both sides of the lightning connector. As soon as a removed it, turned it over, and reinserted it, it worked fine. ... show more

This is a great solution for my iPhone to be used to play music on the older 30 pin portable audio devices I have. A little pricey for what it is and I wish the cord were a little longer but the adapter is doing its job. Have only had it a few weeks so I cannot fairly review the durability yet.

If I could give no stars I would!! I wanted to charge my old iPod and go down memory lane today, but now I can’t do that because this faulty charger only worked for literally 60 seconds. I should’ve listened to the other reviews smh. But learn from me and DO NOT BUY!
