OK, PRODUCT IS CHEAP, BUT LOOK WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT, SO? YOU CAN LINE YOUR BASE BOARD BUT THE" METAL GUIDES" ARE TOO LOW AND WHEN THE WOOD IS PLACED IN THE GUIDE, ( HOLDING IT THERE IS ANOTHER PROBLEM WHILE CUTTING) THE WOOD IS HIGHER THAT THE GUIDE POLES SO, A PRE CUT LINE WAS MADE WITH THE HACKSAW, JUST TO GET THE ANGLE NEEDED TO CUT, THEN I BROUGHT IT TO THE TABLE SAW FOR ITS CUT USING THE PRE ANGLE CUT AND IT WORKED OUT PRETTY NICE, nOTE; UsE iT aS gUIDE fOR yOUR rEAl CuT oN tHE mITER sAW. ... show more

I needed to cut accurate 45 degree angles, and I had to do two things to make that happen. One, I set the thing at a 90 degree with an accurate square, and glued the miter box down in that position to a piece of plywood, that I could also clamp down to my bench. That gave it a sturdier more solid setting. Second, I fitted the metal poles with a 1/4" piece of brass tubing to narrow the gap between the metal guide poles. Before I did that, it was hard to even get close to a proper cut. Without these two things, nothing I tried came out dead on. Now, it works, but I would not now be able to adjust for any other angle. But I don't need to. If you need to use more than one angle, you will not be happy with this for any kind of precision cutting. ... show more
