I'm not sure what people were complaining about. I LOVE this ramp. It's the best one I have tried. Ok, the only issue was the directions were poor. There were a few things to figure out on your own. But honestly, it wasn't that hard to figure out. But the ramp that I can ride my bike up on and not have to lift anything that heavy is priceless. I love love love it. It's super easy and stable. We bought this and had no problem with assembling. In the first leg of our trip when we went yo get bikes off they were scratched from the clamp. Not happy figuring when I got around to the review I’d note that. Second day out (I will note the highways of northern New Mexico can be bumpy as the highways of eastern Arizona) we were passed by a car that held up a sign with the word “bike” written on it. We pullover to find the straps (BOTH) had snapped and one of the bikes was gone! We retraced and never found the bike (someone had a mailed $1200 bike). We immediately put two of our straps we had in the RV on the other bike. I can’t emphasize the dismay at the price of this rack for it to totally disfunction leaving us without a EBike that was expensive and 2 months old. My bike was secured but after a short drive it fell down and started to drag. I put it back up and really tightened it. It fell again and started to drag. The metal cut right through the rubber grip. Very bad quality. Your bike will fall of with the slightest vibration. I wasn't even on a dirt road.

    • Not worth the price. Does "work". Came broken. Had to fix. Use only cus we paid so much for it.
It came shipped with a broken end cap. Had to drill a hole and run a bolt through it so the ramp didn't fly out into traffic like it did. Not a snug fit in the hitch receiver. Bounces and jiggles a lot. Materials seem "eh". This thing is HEAVY. Not the best for everyone. May need two to install if you're not an avidly in shape individual. Product does work with a little fine tuning. For the price, not worth it. For the price, we still use it. Should have gone with a better product. ... show more

Will not fit two e bikes of the same frame design, need more off set, position of the bikes so not to interfere in handlebars, position of upright post need relocate to fit stepthru frames and No way work with bikes in opposite positions. Would never buy with plastic wheel straps and plastic clamps that have flimsy clamps and plastic nut handles. We had broken nut handles and stripped bolt clamps and it took 20 days to get one part when we had pictures of several 2 broken parts. Would of sent back but it would of cost 100 us dollars ship back ... show more
