I changed from one to four stars. Initially I posted that the performance was poor. However, following examination by an electrician, it was noted that the slow heating problem was a result of incorrect installation. For a customers having heating issues, make sure the insulation is done correctly.

Nothing I did not like about the product or the installation. I did have to research how to connect a 3wire cooktop to a 4 wire feed from the panel, but just cap off the white neutral as this stovetop needs the two hot leads or 220v single hot like non US countries and a safety ground no white neutral needed. The gasket seal was quite strong with the adhesive and is not going to slip out or leak. Going from twist knobs to touch controls will require practice but cleaning under the knobs was horrible. ... show more

TSIA: We first bought one of these for Prime Day 2022 to install in a friend’s kitchen. They loved it so much that, a year later, we decided to get one for our own kitchen (yay Prime Day 2023!). We didn’t get to our kitchen remodel yet, but our friends rave that it heats up super fast, and it’s so easy to clean because it’s just a smooth, flat surface.
