03 civic ex, Easy to install but it’s definitely cheap, the mounting point doesn’t go anywhere and the filter is cheap as hell but it works, if you want something made for a 2001-2005 civic, this isn’t it, but if you want something that works good enough and is cheap, then this is your intake

Starting off i’d like to say i know it’s cheap and i was expecting it to appear that way, but NOT this bad at all. I’m sure the good reviews for this are true, but i’m just giving my experience. Firstly, all the holes that were drilled out had remaining metal fragments that could have easily been sucked into the engine if i had not seen them. Second, the MAF sensor hole was drilled way too big, and didn’t come with a rubber grommet for it to fit in. Third, the bracket that was welded on did not line up with the mounting point. It doesn’t come with ANY mounting hardware whatsoever. It relies on you to use the bolt from your old air filter or resonator, which i’m sure would be fine, but there’s better ways of going about it. They could have thrown in a double sided screw mount or something. Lastly, it comes with two pieces of metal that i’m sure are for mounting if it doesn’t line up, but again, there’s no mounting hardware, and i could make any sense of what was included. It also came with that rubber cap that i can’t figure out where that would even go. In conclusion, the build quality was absolutely terrible and it wouldn’t have mounted correctly at all.
