I bought this with zero reviews but at the price I figured why not give it a try especially when most this size start at 120$ and up. Package arrived in a well protected box. The fire pit is solid and doesn’t feel cheap in any way. It comes with a carrying case as a bonus. The stand works great and supports the pit with no movement. It also comes with a nice poker. Starting the fire was effortless and within 5 mins I had a nice fire going and heat was pumping out all around. I never had to flip the wood around it just burns and instead of tending the fire you can relax. I bought this so I didn’t smoke my neighbors out and after one night of use I don’t smell like smoke and very little came out after the fire was going. 5 out of 5 stars would recommend to anyone looking for a smokeless fire pit without the big name and a steal of a price. ... show more

This is a low cost alternative to a name brand fire pit, That is highly marketed. It burns the wood really well With little to no smoke after it warms up and starts the secondary burn, it is recommended to only use about 8 pounds of wood. The outside doesn't get extremely hot, but the top. Does it could easily be used to cook on if you had the right attachments. The outside will show staining if handled with bare hands or if rained upon. It's real easy to get a fire, going a little newspaper, Some kindling and a stack of firewood placed in and simply light the newspaper, and it takes right off. It smokes a little at first, but as soon as it heats up, it starts the second burn process and eliminates most of the smoke. Nearly all the heat that this unit provides go straight up, so if you're looking for something to heat an area, this is probably not it? It is handy to cook on to make marshmallows or hotdogs. ... show more

So nice! I don't know how long it's last, but it looks great and works great. I love that it came with a cover/bag too. Definitely works great, and keeps the smoke down. So much more affordable than the expensive name brand that looks exactly the same.

Good looking, though it does start shifting colors after use, naturally. Not heavy, good size for camping, simple enough to clean. And definitely clean it since it relies on ‘breathing’ for the smokeless factor. Also, be aware of the wood you use, if you’re not using fire logs. Evergreens have much more sap making them smoke more. Assembly? Meh, you just put in the inside grate and set it on its stand. Ta-da! Now sit back n enjoy your less expensive fire pit ;) ... show more

This is a really nice little fire pit. After my old, different one rusted out, I figured I’d try a smokeless one that’s become popular. This size is perfect for fires on our small patio (14x14ft). Just remember this - less is more! First time firing it up (get it?) and I made up the fire as one would in a regular fire pit. The fire lit up very easily and became huge! I live in a windy area and the design of this lets air circulate perfectly. You need very few logs to have a nice sized and warm fire. Is also really nice that it’s smokeless so nobody has the unlucky spot of smoke in the eyes or smelling like fire. Comes with a little bag to put it in so it can be stored in a dry place like shed or garage. I’d recommend buying a metal trash can lid for when you’re done for the night. It does not recommend using water to put your fire out. So I let the fire burn down and when it’s just coals left I put the trash can lid on top for piece of mind. ... show more
