  • Redchief cookware
One of my favorite O. Henry stories is "The Ransom of Red Chief." I don’t recall cookware being featured in the story, but it is certainly featured in my kitchen. We’ve been using the pans from this set exclusively for a couple of weeks now. It is likable on the range, in the refrigerator, and even on the table. Very simple lines and a neutral-colored ceramic make this attractive. Other folks have posted lots of photos, so I have only contributed one showing the contents of the package all in one stack. Except for the handy dipper and the less useful spatula. The concept of the removable handle takes me back to our wedding gift of a set of white ceramic cookware with clamp-on handles. The handles in this set are more sophisticated, but not as easy to use for me. When pushing the button to release the handle, my other fingers wrap around the tightening lever. I have yet to get the knack of getting the handle off smoothly. The bottom is magnetic, so it should work on any common range. There’s a funny thing about heat and this cookware. The ceramic coating can take very high temperatures. But the thin aluminum and steel layers can’t. The set comes with a very informative booklet. If you follow the manufacturer’s directions, this cookware should perform well. Below are some extracts from that booklet. 1. Season the cookware as directed. If you take it out of the package and fry stuff, it will stick. The seasoning isn’t as onerous as seasoning cast iron, but it isn’t an everyday task. I’ll save you the search; the smoke point of canola oil is about 450 degrees. 2. Keep the heat down. I don’t recall any cookware I’ve purchased this century that didn’t warn about high heat distorting the metal and rendering the non-stick coating ineffective. Things will cook just fine without turning the burner to HIGH. If you want to carbonize something, use cast iron. 3. “Non-stick” is an advertising term that has been around for decades. The term should really be “less-stick.” You have to use a bit of oil to prevent sticking. No metal tools. 4. Finally, the instructions warn that the cookware will stain and the bottoms in contact with the heat will discolor. This was an easy five points. ... show more

  • Love this set
I have been using this set for all of my cooking for a little over a month now. I absolutely love it. I do recommend that you follow the instructions in the booklet that comes with the set. It explains how to season the cookware before use. I did this and I could not be happier with the performance. I like almost everything about this set. It is easy to store when not in use. The items are stackable, and the set comes with protectors to use so you don't scratch anything. This is saving me a ton of space. I love the detachable handles. They are easy to attach and easy to detach as well. I love that the cookware remains pretty much nonstick for me after weeks of use. I do not cook on super high heat, nor do I do any kind of high heat frying. I have cooked on low to medium high heat with or without the lid and have had no issues thus far. I cook on an electric stove, so I have not had any issues with the handles melting, but I imagine based on the material, that if you have the handle directly over heat, it will start to melt. Be sure to keep the handles positioned away from the heat and remove handles after moving the cookware from stovetop to oven. I find the set super easy to clean with a basic sponge, soap, and hot water. I soak pans that are exceptionally messy for a little while, but that has not been needed most of the time. Overall, I love cooking with this set. I plan to ditch my old nonstick set and use these exclusively, along with my two coated cast iron pans. Food doesn't tend to stick, the heat retention is excellent, they are easy to clean, and they are easy to store. I'm very happy! ... show more

  • Missing part
I would’ve given 5 stars but my large lid is missing the handle so I can only use one lid at a time as I don’t have a handle to hold to take it on and off while I cook. Otherwise these are great space savers and very easy to clean!

  • Awesome
I really love this. I love the color. I love the design. I love every piece itself. Every piece serves his own purpose. The color is amazing. It is definitely doing what it says. It’s gonna do like the stackability stack all these pots and pans on top of each other with saves me a lot of space in my kitchen or even in storage they are very scratch resistant. I love that they come with the heat resistant plates at the bottom so I can set the pots of the skillets or which is very great. I love using these. I use these every day. I cook these every day because I just really love using these. I really think that, everyone should have at least one of these sets in their kitchen is very amazing. Like I said it comes with a pot pan. It comes with several different accessories as included heating place the set your pots or your pans on so it will not burn your counter top. This is a beautiful set all around. The cleaning is easy is very durable like I say I love the color. I love every piece serves his own purpose. I would definitely recommend that each and every one of you get one of these. ... show more

  • Couldn’t be happier!
These have worked like a dream thus far and have been easy to cook with and to clean. Absolutely nothing sticks to them and it makes dishes much easier. They’re nice and fit very easily into a drawer which helps save a lot of space, which is something that we struggle with in our apartment. It might take a little time to adjust to putting the handle on each pot/pan but it hasn’t been a struggle. However, I don’t think that this would be good only for people with small cupboards or cabinets, but rather just in general, I think if you’re looking for new pots and pans you can’t go wrong with these ones!! ... show more

  • Needs more pot separators
Haven't used the set to cook yet, just unboxed to put away. They definitely look pretty and I like that it comes with 2 handles. But I only got 2 thin pot separators. Why not include enough for the entire set? They are pretty thin and cheap, seems like it would cost that much to include a full set. I partially went with this set vs competitor bc of everything included for price. Will edit once I've used it ... show more
