    • Lawn mower storage
The 16' x 20' silver and black tarp I bought is a success so far. It is water proof and heavy duty. I bought it oversize to cover my Zero Turn 26hp Riding Mower with 60" cut and I tuck the excess under the perimeter. This keeps the wind from blowing it off and if I tuck it right it will keep the chipmunks and mice from getting under it and setting up shop in the mower over winter. Believe it or not last spring when I uncovered the mower and started it for the first time, a mouse flew out the exhaust pipe followed by about a dozen acorns.     • Cheap tarp
Did not have grommet holes on two sides of the tarp. Its purpose is to be ball bungeed for a hay enclosure. Had to throw directly on top of hay due to rain, seller never responded to see how to rectify the situation since I had to use because of the weather.

    • Low quality, not heavy duty
There is nothing heavy duty about this tarp. It's made of 2 halves stitched together - 2 halves which are clearly of different quality, so one side easily lets a lot of sunlight through while the other is a little better. The seam where the halves are connected is poorly made and there are lots of tiny holes that completely let the light through. The tarp overall is very light and it's obvious it's not "heavy duty" as soon as you pick it up, especially if you've used heavier tarps before. Most importantly, this tarp developed large ripped areas almost immediately upon first use. It only took 2-3 days for it to rip seemingly just from being exposed to wind and the normal tension you put on a tarp. I gave it 2 stars because 1) it is a tarp, that much is true, and 2) the grommets held up to high wind, which is kind of surprising given the low quality of the rest of it. I suppose this would work great for stationary protection, just not made for use around moving or a lot of higher winds.

Ripped in the wind on the first day. Then again, I don't think i was supposed to have it whipping in the wind. Still tho, one day? Not all that heavy duty, because it wasn't a terribly strong wind. For covering a car or boat tho, i would recommend it, if it's wrapped tight, it will last.
