This is a company I never heard of and never ordered a chain saw chain from. Pack of three at super good price so Leary. Amazon Is great about returns so decided to give these chains a try. I’ve got an 18” 340 husqvarna which I love. Took off old chain and went to put on the new chain. The chain seemed more robust than my usual chains but the specs were the same. Then it turned out to be way too long for my 18” bar. Checked the tin the three chains came it. Listed all the right specs but no mention of the length. Checked my order online. 18” just as. Expected. I packed them back up ready to return. Then I remembered I had a 20” bar so decided to give that a try. Fits perfectly and ran in the bar groove smoothly. Took it out to the big dead red oak I had taken down and tried it out. It cut really well as I expect a new chain to do. So now I couldn’t be more pleased. ... show more

Love that thin-kerf ECHO battery chainsaw but want to have spare chain as this is not an industrial unit and I'm enjoying the sweet slicing too much. Great chain insurance. Keep it clean from sawdust and oiled!

    • Chains Quickly Failed - Don't Waste Your Money

I bought a pack of these last year, but didn't really put them to the test until this past weekend when the girlfriend had a huge Ash tree come down in a big storm. I was running them on a Stihl MS-170 that I use for the small stuff. The first chain, freshly sharpened and properly tensioned, worked fine for about 45 minutes and then started binding. The bar on my saw was HOT HOT and I thought it was maybe an issue with the oiler. I took it apart, cleaned everything, checked that the oiler was working and using the proper amount of oil, re-tensioned the chain, and went back to cutting. 5 minutes later, same issue. At a loss, I decided to replace the chain with a brand new one from the same pack. That one cut for about 5 minutes as well before it came off the bar because one of the links had frozen up. In the end I grabbed an OEM Stihl chain I had laying around, and even though I hadn't sharpened it recently, I was able to finish the job (including cutting through some 14" sections of the trunk) without a single problem. Maybe these are fine for a homeowner wanting to do some occasional light pruning or yard cleanup, but for taking apart whole trees and general farm/ranch work, they don't cut the mustard (or anything else for that matter). ... show more
