This handheld is a fun little device that has a good number of games. The games are very basic and seem to be custom games or games I've never seen before. Some of the games resemble other more well known games too. If you are old enough to remember the flash website games from the late 90s and early 2000s, the games seem very similar to those. The graphics appear like a SNES quality, which makes sense because this is labeled as 16 bit. What I like about this is that they seem like decently ok games to play. There are puzzle games and a good mix of other games. Yes, they are a bit cheesy, but simple enough for a car ride where a kid might want to sink time into getting a good score on a simple puzzle challenge game. This is definitely not going to replace a home console though. So if you are parent/grand-parent thinking this is a suitable replacement for a Switch, it probably isn't going to work out very well. This is a perfect handheld to be able to leave in the car or a bookbag though to waste time as needed, for example, if your kid has a appointment and the waiting room is taking a while, this is a good device to hold off boredom. The controls work well, but often the games are very simple and don't support fluid gameplay mechanics. It has a rechargeable battery and USB-C port, thank you!! It even has a headphone jack and volume wheel. The device boots right up with zero lag. You can just about be playing games under 5 seconds. When you are done, just turn it off. It is worth it for the price? For me it seems hard to justify buying this. It's not that there aren't fun experiences to be had with this, it is just it is at a price point where if you spent a little more, you could get some handhelds that can handle more games that would not tire so easily. It is definitely much better than the cheap handheld toy games back in the 90s that were just black and white screens with a single game. But we're also in the 2020's and the expectations are a little greater for features and games. I think if this was drop by about $10 it would be totally worth it as a little toy time waster. I still think, even if it were priced a little better, that spending a little more to get a better handheld would be bring a longer lasting use and enjoyment over this. ... show more

The graphics on this game system are much nicer than several older hand-held game systems we have here. I can't find this type of game system in the local stores, so it's great they are available on Amazon. The dimension of this system's screen is 1 7/8" X 2 1/2", which is larger than the older style we have here, and the grandsons have never complained about the smaller screens. I'm sure they'll love this game system with its 100+ games and the nice graphics. I've posted pictures of the system with its box and its 3', 2 1/2" charging cable plus the owners manual, a side view showing there's a headphone jack (headphones do not come with) and the charger slot. The owners manual is very informative in that it lists all the names of the games and a brief description or instructions for playing the games, which is SO nice to have! The older systems we have here did not include that, and I have no idea what all games are on them, as I know the grandkids don't either. The one downside to this game console is that the bottom left button on the face of the console resets the game. Other consoles like this have a toggle switch in that spot, and kids who are used to a toggle switch there will automatically try to toggle that button but will instead reset their game. I myself am not used to a toggle switch there because I never play, and as I played this tonight to test it out, I rather liked that reset button. Perhaps the kids won't mind it, and will adjust quickly to the change. I think this is a nice game console and am very happy with it, plus they offer a 30 day warranty should there be issues with the system. Posting their warranty for view.
