I have mixed feelings about these. First of all, the tie wraps were cut for the bearings and spacers, so I suspect I received a return. The wheels, although stating they are 15x6-6, are noticeably smaller and narrower than the standard pneumatic wheels and tires on my John Deere D125. They seem to work fine, were easy to install without using alternative bearings or spacers, do not need grease with the installed 3/4" sealed bearings, and seem like they might last, but that is something I cannot confirm yet. They have far less flexibility than pneumatic wheels. Even with my pneumatic wheels, I always had a bumpy ride due to the number of gophers and ground squirrels in my yard, so I can't sense any difference. They do slip sideways, as some have mentioned, but so did my original wheels when mowing wet grass or when tires lost air pressure, and on tight turns. My perception is that these seem to slip more. If you have relatively flat areas to mow, and maintain 2-4" grass/weed height I would say they are fine. I am not sure I trust them yet when turning in tight spaces on inclines, or how much to trust them on inclines. I will maintain the original wheels until I am sure I trust the new ones, or in case I determine I do not. It is a quick change to go back and forth if conditions may require that. I can't complain about not having to worry about punctures which I frequently get from dry weed stems and twigs which penetrate my original tires with inner tubes at least yearly. It is good practice to learn how to remove and remount the tires and tubes, which is not too hard given the right tools and techniques which can be found on YouTube. I use modified pry bars, removing sharp edges and big screw drivers, and knowing where to kneel on the tires, and where to pry. The more you do it, the faster it goes. ... show more

Ordered wheels specifically for three-quarter inch Husqvarna axles. I did utilize a lot of the extra spacers, washers that came along with the kit. So grateful that they were there. Made installation so much easier. Wheels appear to be high-quality. Slightly narrower than factory wheels. Not a problem it’s a lawn tractor. They do not require air. As they are foam filled solid tires. Don’t forget to grease the wheels after you install them. Grease fittings are supplied and installed for you. Will buy again… ... show more

    • Poor Build Quality - Poor Product Design

My application is for replacing OEM front tires on a Cub Cadet ZT!50. The poor build quality: the wheels arrived with one grease fitting stripped and the other tighten such that the fitting faces the inside of the rim. The stripped fitting will likely fall off, and certainly will never seal when grease is applied. The misaligned fitting may work. One point off. Poor Product Design: The product ships with three sets of wheel bearings. The inner race of the bearings measure about .75, .625, and .5 inch in diameter. This allows the wheels to fit a variety of mowers. The wheels ship with the largest diameter bearings pressed into the rims. Unless you have a suitable bearing puller and an arbor press, you use a hammer and drift punch to knock the bearings out and then hammer the correct bearing in. Of course, you have to do this without hitting the inner race and covers. One point off for difficulty in changing out the bearings. If you are not comfortable doing this, don't buy these wheels. To accommodate installation on various mowers, the product ships with six pairs of steel spacers. The spacers fit between the wheel and the mower's front forks, holding the wheels in alignment. The problem is that the internal diameter of all the spacers is .75". My axles are 0.5", which results in a 0.25" gap. Thus, the spacer is not centered on the bearing and cannot apply even pressure on the race. This will cause premature bearing failure. Also, four pairs of the spacers are .43" wide, and two pairs are .25" wide. The spacers are used to center a wheel on its respective mower fork. My forks require two .3" spacers to center the wheel. I could have used a 0.43 and a 0.25" spacer, but the wheel would not be centered. Fortunately, I have a metal lathe and made my own. A better design would be to include more than just two sizes of spacers. The spacers are critical to preventing premature bearing failure. Two points off for inadequate spacer design. Initially, I gave the product an overall rating of 1 point, for the reasons discussed above. I have added two stars because the seller reached out to me and sent a set of replacement wheels.
