  • **5.0 out of 5 stars** - Excellent Turf Traction Tire for Riding Mowers!
**5.0 out of 5 stars** - Excellent Turf Traction Tire for Riding Mowers! I am extremely satisfied with the MARASTAR 20808-TO Turf Traction 20x8.00-8 4PR Rear Tire Only for Riding Mowers! I purchased this tire for my riding mower, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The tire provides excellent traction on various surfaces, including grass, dirt, and gravel. It is also very durable and has withstood the rigors of regular use without showing any signs of wear. The turf-friendly design is also a major plus, as it allows me to mow my lawn without leaving any unsightly tire tracks or marks. The tire is also very easy to install and maintain, making it a breeze to use. I've used this tire for several months now, and it still looks and performs like new. I'm extremely impressed with the quality and performance of this tire, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new tire for their riding mower. **Pros:** * Excellent traction on various surfaces * Very durable and long-lasting * Turf-friendly design * Easy to install and maintain * High-quality construction **Cons:** None! ... show more

  • Excellent quailty
I have a 30 year+ Murray lawn tractor and the rear tires were splitting on the sidewall. I saw these and was impressed with the tread design plus they are 4 ply can be inflated to 22lbs and again have that awesome tread design. I had a professional small tire changer in the box and I have never used one. I assembled it and began the process. The tool was so well designed it was simple to use. The tires were much heavier duty than the Carlisle tires originally on it. After installation the tires in use did not harm my fescue grass, period. It provides some awesome traction. I use this tractor for cart work. Tires are a great investment. To those doing it yourself even if you will struggle without the tool, you ain't seen nothing yet just wait until you try to set that bead. I got one done and had to have a larger compressor to seat the second tire to the rim. ... show more

  • Great tires for a riding mower
The media could not be loaded. Great tires for a riding mower. Have had them on my cub cadet for a couple years now cutting a half acre lawn. Tread is aggressive enough for good grip in all conditions. But gentle enough to not tear up the lawn. Even in snow they perform wonderfully. Haven't even begun to show signs of wear. 10/10 ... show more

  • awesome mower tires !
truly i love these tires compared to the ones that came on my 2011 troy bilt pony. been putting stuff into the tires for years for dry rot but finally got tired blowing the old ones up everytime i went to mow. these should last a long time and give me the grip on the hilly parts of my yard that i so desperately needed. an odd thing occured with the first pair of tires that came. as soon as i opened both boxes and put the tires next to eachother, there was a considerable size difference. i looked and both tires and both tire boxes were stamped and labeled the right size exactly and exactly the same. i took them and compared to my old tires that i had in the back of my jeep and could see the larger of the two was the one that was the wrong size even though labeled and stamped right. i had to send back and wait for a new one to arrive and it was the right size. it wasnt the sellers fault, it had to be a factory mistake for the tire to be stamped the wrong size. im extremely happy with the tires but watch for a funky size mistake from factory. ... show more

  • A definite upgrade
I purchased these to replace the stock rear tires on my craftsman Z 5200 zero turn mower. They fit perfectly and work really awesome and aggressive. The installation was also not that difficult once I bought a kit with the tire irons and core removal tools. I have a decent sized hill on my property that goes down to a pond. Between the sprinklers, the rain, and the general presence of the pond, I routinely have decently moist soil and it leads to me spinning at least one tire any time I get anywhere within about 10 feet of the pond. I have gotten stuck several times down there when I test the limits of how close I can mow without needing to break out the string trimmer. When I was at my renovation site and ran over a nail, I used this as the perfect opportunity to upgrade my tires. I picked these because I was hopeful they would give me much better traction in the muddy areas. I’m not going through standing mud piles so I cannot speak to that. But, for trying to do turns on a hill that routinely causes me to get stuck and just spin my tires, this was a much needed upgrade. I am mediately noticed the difference in the handling when I made my first series of turns. It seems that my original tires were probably spinning more often than I realized when making even casual turns. Because I was very quickly made aware that my turns were now much rougher and sharper because I believe the tires have much better traction now and we’re not sleeping at all. So there was a slight learning curve in trying to ensure that a turn smoothly. In all of my problem areas these tires seem to have fixed the problem. They are not invulnerable. I have been able to spin them in some of my more problematic areas and was worried that I was going to get myself stuck. Also, I have not yet purposefully tried to get myself stuck in an area where I have previously done sell. But, with that said, these handled far superior to the situation. A little bit of rocking and jiggling and I was able to get out of trouble. Now because these tires do you have deep knobs and provide better traction, I did notice that if I’m not gentle they will tear up the grass a little bit. So I take Sherpa returns at a much lower speed now compared to what I used to do. Other than adapting to the superior traction, I think these were a great addition to the mower. Whenever these go out, I might try a different set because I do want to get to the point where I know I won’t potentially be stuck somewhere. But, these were the most aggressive I could find for my wheel size and I do not regret the purchase at all. ... show more
