I received this today and assembled it. Instructions poor, so I had to use video to help me assemble. I plugged it into a dedicated 120V, 20-amp outlet that had been installed by a professional licensed electrician 2021. The GFCI popped. I have used the outlet for almost three years with no problems. I have run a portable14000 BTU air conditioner in summer for working out for three years. Tried again and it held for several minutes then popped again. Finally stayed on but I looked through the end grill and noticed a wire marked 120V/1500W wire glowing and black, melting on the end where it was attached. I haven't taken it apart yet because we have a winter storm coming in tonight. I will definitely return after this storm moves through. This unit is a fire hazard. ... show more

The heater itself is fine, well built, warms objects in about a 4’ area. I picked it because it is a bit smaller than others and I wanted something for my unheated workshop that wouldn’t get in my way too much. BUT I reduced my rating due to a lack of relevant assembly instructions. I actually returned the item once because I thought they had included the wrong mounting hardware. But when I got the second one and it had the same parts I set myself to doping it out. It took a bit messing around but I finally got it. The assembly instructions that came with the heater must refer to a different model because it showed totally different brackets. My picture shows the solution. ... show more
