This is the best dehumidifier I have tried and bought. It is accurate for ambient temperature, runs quietly, and does the job, quickly bringing down the humidity in that part of my place-- all in a small, lightweight unit. I have it next to the sink in my spare bathroom with the drain hose in the sink bowl. When I have guests, I pull off the hose until the guests are gone. ... show more

    • No way going to do 1500 sq feet maybe not 300 sq feet

Works and is ultra quiet about 1/4 the dB level of a normal "basement" dehumidifier. Perfect for a bedroom IMO and it is a very small unit the "1500 sq feet" one I got is tiny which can be a plus, it's on wheels and it works. It's just not going to be aggressive enough to lower humidity by a huge amount as a basement unit will but it took my 250 sq foot room from 49 to 44% in about 4 hours not bad. I used the drain hose because the water catcher is pretty small. Again for a small room/bedroom great and the quietness is really impressive but again that's because the compressor is small and the fan is small just don't think it's going to do much in 1500 sq feet. I'd also imagine that it will not take a humid summer day with 80% outside and keep you at 44% so I ordered a larger unit to test it out I need to keep a piano at about 42-45% no matter how humid it is outside. ... show more

This dehumidifier is nice. Its size was just what I expected. It’s quite and it has the option to run with a drain hose or into its canister which offers flexibility. The wheels however do not come off which I don’t like so much. My other issue is, I’ve had it running for a week straight and while it is pulling moister, it’s not dropping it anything like I expected. My home is still staying humid and it’s less sqft. then what it says it is able to work in. ... show more
