We ran into some issues with our HVAC system this past fall (which wasn't draining properly) and our house got extremely humid. While we were troubleshooting the HVAC issues this dehumidifier was a total lifesaver-- it is compact and easy to move around the house, but works quickly. We appreciated that it was relatively quiet (so didn't mind keeping it on in our living room during the day) and the auto-shut off to ensure that the unit didn't over fill. Though we figured out our HVAC issues, we have since pulled this dehumidifier out to help on especially humid days and it has worked consistently well since we purchased it last fall. ... show more

This dehumidifier is nice. Its size was just what I expected. It’s quite and it has the option to run with a drain hose or into its canister which offers flexibility. The wheels however do not come off which I don’t like so much. My other issue is, I’ve had it running for a week straight and while it is pulling moister, it’s not dropping it anything like I expected. I bought this dehumidifier for my basement. It has done a wonderful job reducing the humidity. I need to empty it every 2-3 days, but haven't tried using the included hose to connect it straight to a drain. It is easy to dump and the controls are straightforward. I've been so happy with it, I bought a second one for my bathroom to reduce humidity. I feel like it is very quiet. I have it in the middle of my basement and I craft a foot away from it.
