I really like the size of it If you have six rifles, it’s perfect. I have a very long rifle that I was worried wouldn’t fit in it, but it fits just fine and I still can have the top shelf put in place. The corner shelves I really nice addition. The locking mechanism works great. The fingerprint recognition is awesome if you’re looking for a safe big enough for six rifles this is the one to get. The only complaint I have is the LED light is pretty weak. Do yourself a favor and get a moisture absorbing, desiccate device with a built-in light that you can get on Amazon for $22 buck It’s well worth it. ... show more

    • Very misleading
The only way you can put 15-18 guns in this is if you put 10 pistols in it. You will be lucky to get 8 rifles, I have 6 with room for Maybe 1 more. If you have pistol grips and optics like I do you will have no room to put rifles on the side walls. If you have the top shelf in it you can not use the 2 top pistol pouches because the door will not close. And unless you have mostly SBR's the 2 triangle shelf's are useless. And you probably want to use something different to mount it to the wall with, what is supplied is no good. The bullet pouch and storage bag on the door is not useful either. The walls are very thin and would be easy to break into if someone wanted. And the fingerprint entry does not work on mine. If you want something to lock your guns in just to keep little kids from getting to them then this will work, but other than that you'd be better getting something else ... show more

First off this isn't bad for what it is. As others have said this is a cabinet not a safe. There were a few flaws as you can see in the pictures. It did arrive with white stuff all over the door pockets but I think it's clean able. The biometrics didn't work at first. I had to remove the door accessorie cover to access the locking mechanism. I discovered that the wire for the biometrics was left unplugged. Once I got the wires plugged in it worked perfectly. The door is nice and sturdy for what it is. The walls are thin but I installed this in a closet and bolted it to the walls. I feel this made it much more secure. Assembly was a pain since the instructions are just pictures and you have to figure out what parts go where as nothing is labeled. One thing I really didn't like is the flooring of the safe doesn't bolt in it sits on heavy metal clips. It does appear to be fairly solid though and even turning the safe upside down it was hard to push the floor back off. Assembly did take 2 people because the door is the heaviest part and the cabinet tips over when the door is open. There were some small chips in the paint from shipping but they were so small I couldn't get a picture. It comes with 2 not 3 gun racks as advertised. There is no customer support if you have missing or damaged items as it seems amazon handles the while process and will only offer you a full return and not replace missing or damaged parts. This is kind of bad since you have to unbox the whole thing to check it over and reboxing this would be a complete pain! This will work well enough to keep kids and others away from your firearms but it would be easy for a real thief to get into. Just be aware. It works for my purposes and I'm fairly happy with the purchase. I might buy another because I have enough space in the closet to put another right beside it and fill the gap. Not bad for the price just as long as you know your not getting anything more than a heavy cabinet with a 4 bolt door. ... show more

This is all i needed for my purposes. It stores guns, rifles & ammunition under a biometric, combination, & key lock. The fingerprint reader is pleasantly functional, combo lock works great. The cabinet is relatively heavy and came with a few bumps caused in shipping that I worked through. The adjustable feet are too short & they are under the floor panel that is not secured with screws like it should be. The top two handgun slots on the fabric door panel will not allow full sized handguns unless the shelf is moved up into a position that renders the shelf less useful. The light is inadequate, so I ordered a motion activated led strip $19 that works spectacularly. I added a magnet mount to store my mags which worked well. The door fabric panel could be replaced with multiple of these magnetic mounts $20 to store more handguns & magazines & be more useful. The triangle shelves probably take more space than they add, will probably replace them with another two sided magnetic mount. The cabinet can store more rifles, i don’t have them right now. All in all, I would definitely buy this again. Pay attention to shipping as most storage units have an extra fee given their weight. As for assembly. When you get to adding the door place the door face down and attach the already assembled back on top or just start with the door first, add the sides then secure the back. The triangle shelves require the extended tabs be bent to fit into the side slots. Add the light strip & two sided magnet to optimize access & storage. ... show more

    • great funciton and price
I received the unit and was able to assemble it in about an hour. I then shifted it in place in the tuck in of my closet and unit fits perfectly. I added an additional motion light to the shelf and have plenty of room and storage for storing my guns and keeping others out. It was very easy to change the combination and enroll my finger prints (always do at least 2 on each hand). For the price I'm very happy. ... show more

This is a flimsy, poorly designed, very cheap safe. The only thing acceptable is the door, if you didn't have to put the whole safe together like a cheap off brand desk. The instructions need instructions, and a magnifying glass, nothing was labeled, it's extremely front heavy and WILL tip if it's not bolted down, and the many doesn't explain how to actually LOCK the safe door. Even if it was locked, it would not be difficult to break into, a saws all with a metal blade would do the trick. I would NOT recommend this safe to anyone. There are better ways to throw away money, like burning it. The only reason I gave it one star is cause I can't give it none. ... show more
