The media could not be loaded. I received this unit as a brithday gift. I have been hinting around at wanting a smaller portable welder that I can run off of my 8000 W generator, this powerful and portable unit checks all of the boxes. Right out of the box ran some really nice beads on some quarter inch material with really good penetration and very little spatter. A neighbor needed some assistance with replacing a bent trailer jack and I was able to do the work on site running off of my 110 volt service from my generator using the flux wire and it turned out awesome I believe I was running about 125 A running my arc to the thicker trailer frame material. It fused the new jack to the trailer flawlessly. A quick cleanup with a wire brush and a few sprays of paint and it looks better than it did from the factory. I have a more expensive welder that does not weld as well as this lower priced unit welds I believe if it holds up, this will turn out to be a very good purchase. ... show more

What I expected for a welder under 7 bucks is not what I received. This thing took about 5 minutes to unbox, plug in and start welding. I ran about 24 inches without a single issue other than I had my generator on low idle and well you need full power for a welder. I bought this to upgrade a harbor freight mig and wanted to get into tig welding. I noticed that my welds were burning through every time no matter what the amps were set at. I also noticed sometimes when starting my arc the amps would seem to be maxed out and sometimes they wouldn't even start a puddle. I've been welding thicker metals up until now and tried making a custom exhaust and went down to 25 amps and still blew through or had too much heat where the welds were grey. Going to 24 amps I could barely get a start and 25 amps i was blowing through stainless. This welder is not accurate and caused a lot of headaches trying to figure out what was going on. Last this is not a lift tig, it's a scratch start. If you try and lift tig your tungsten is going to stick to your work piece. ... show more

This 200P welder performs very well, the quality is very good, it can adjust the power and current. The welding process is very smooth and the joint is very clean. The tig connector is specialized, need to purchase the TIG gun which is this brand.     • Great hopes and worked great for 10 minutes...

Unfortunately I only tested the item after the return window expired, had a friend of mine( an experienced welder) teach me how to use it and it worked great with the flux core for 10 minutes. After that the machine went dead, checked with a local repair shop and they indicated the electric board is dead. Quite disappointed with the machine, please Test your equipment as soon as it arrives. I'm overseas so returning the defective item might cost more than the welder itself. Update: customer service contacted me and provided a refund for the purchase, they mentioned it could be a defective machine. My advice is the same as before, please check the equipment as soon as it arrives. The customer service was helpful hence I'm improving their qualifications from 1 star to 3 ... show more
