I bought this welder to build tge custom exhaust on my '55. It got the job done. It had been years since I used a mig welder but I eventually got the setting right and it performed well on the 16 ga 2.25" exhaust pipe. The welder is very compact, which is convenient. The big drawback is the ground lead length. It's very short and made it challenging to tack weld the pipe when under the car. I am pleased with the performance for my project and feel like it's a good value. I'd buy it again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Second machine tried (seller graciously sent another, unopened machine for me to try after returning the first) and it's working just as it should. Thought 135a wouldn't be enough, but it's plenty for most things in a small shop and it's light enough to haul around and connect to a small Honda generator. Tip: Use a flux-core nozzle on it, no need for the shielding gas nozzle that blocks weld puddle view, there is no shielding gas! ***Original review: It kinda welds, but has some limitations. For one, you can't adjust the feed speed, it auto selects it for you based on amps. So no using this for fill-in. Mine is probably an anomaly and will be returned to Amazon for a better machine. It seems to either overheat, or times-out at 45amps or higher (see vid). When it does this, you have to D/C power and wait for a while, sometimes plugging back it brings it back to life, sometimes not. Frustrating when you're just trying to get work done. ... show more

I had a small welding job where I needed to attach a handle to a safe. When I got a quote for almost $200 for such a simple task, I thought to myself, ‘It can’t be that complicated.’ That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started researching welding machines, reading reviews, and watching videos on how to weld. Eventually, I came across a machine that had great feedback and was available at a very reasonable price. Despite having zero experience with welding, I decided to purchase the machine and give it a try. When it arrived, I was impressed by how straightforward the setup was. I followed the instructions that came with the machine step by step, and before I knew it, I was welding for the first time in my life. To my surprise, the process was much easier than I expected! The machine was very user-friendly, and with a bit of patience, I managed to attach the safe handle perfectly. It was very light weight and easy to move around. Quite powerful for its size and functionality. Not only did I save myself the $200, but I also learned a valuable skill in the process. The sense of accomplishment I got from doing the job myself was incredible. I highly recommend this welding machine to anyone, especially beginners. It’s a good little welder. 2 drawbacks. You cannot set your own parameters. Where you set the amps is what the welder tells you you can weld. A little tweaking does get you where you need to be. I saw where someone said they couldn’t get the line to feed. Nowhere in the feeding instructions does it say you need to set the parameter on the from to MIG to get it to feed. Little common sense and you will enjoy this welder. ... show more

Very very good. I am extremely surprised about this welder. Works great and did not pop my circuit breaker while plugged into a 100ft 14g extension cable. Used it for frame repair on a TJ Jeep Wrangler. Buy it!

we are not happy at all with this product twice we were sent a broken machine the first one came the door hinges where snapped off and the door was bent the item was missing parts as if it was a open box sale we purchased what we thought was brand new the second welder showed up it also was damages the power switch and feed drive was not installed properly from factory so the machine would not feed wire i got seriously mad and tore the machine apart and fixed it myself a brand new machine in need of repair from day one we want a refund for this entire order ... show more
