This little dehumidifier works great. It is lite weight. It is not noisy on low, on turbo mode it is only 39 decibels. It comes with a drain hose for continuous use. It seems to work well, it removed a pint of water in 3 to 4 hours. It has a washable pre-filter. It has a timer for automatic shut off. It also has a full tank shut off. It is rated for up to 1200 square feet rooms. No where on my unit oŕ in the instructions does it say where it was manufactured. ... show more

This little dehumidifier is working great. I bought it to replace a semi conductor type dehumidifier that I purchased first. The semi conductor dehumidifier was supposed to work for areas of up to 1000 sq ft but after 24hrs of operation the RH only dropped 1%. The area is only 360 sq ft so I felt the dehumidifier should have handled that size space without any problems. So I sent that one back and purchased the Aeocky dehumidifier. I put it in service and in 5hrs it had dropped the RH by 5%. The relative humidity started at 66% dropped to 61% and then leveled off at 60% for couple of days and has since lowered to 57%. It’s working exactly the way I expected it to. It’s been like night and day compared to the semi conductor type that I first purchased. I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

I recently purchased a used vehicle with a serious leak in the roof of the car, the first step to fix it is to dry everything out. This is a challenge as it often rains here and I can't get it in my garage. I put the dehumidifier in the car and was simply amazed at how fast it dried the entire car interior. The unit is quiet, the tank is easy to empty as the cover simply lifts off. If a suitable drain is available, a small hose can be attached to the tank and no draining would be required. This is much quieter than a dehumidifier that uses refrigerant. The unit does generate heat which is not an issue for me, but in an occupied, uncooled room this may be something to consider. This thing is a BEAST in a small footprint. Bought it for a 26' RV. It dropped the humidity from mid to high 80%s to mid to high 50%s in about a day and keeps it there. However, it puts off a significant amount of heat. Even with outdoor temps in the 50s F this thing heated up the RV to low 70s F. I had to turn on the central fan to cool the RV back down. This one is a totally different story: it lowered the humidity below the point I expected it too. I have only ran this machine for a few days, but compared to our last one, there is a huge improvement. We have humidity issues in our home and until we can figure out what they are stemming from, this little beast is a life saver. It's quiet and it really pulls the moisture out of the air.
