Came with the tension nut threads all jacked up .. uses a stainless pin with an aluminum jamb nut .. jamb nut was all galled up on the treads so it wouldn’t tension right .. I’m a welder so I had the tap I needed to fix it .. other than that great product works well otherwise

It's sturdy and can be modified for .22 blanks. Great as an early warning system, camp alert and for scaring off animals. It can be used with non- blanks but that is not something I condone. The only reason for not giving a 5 star is the fact that it has a few parts that reflects light. Not a big deal and is easily fixed with some mate spray paint. ... show more

    • Overstrike Danger
The nut which limits the depth of the firing pin striking the primer is stripped. I can’t adjust the pin strike and right now the pin would over-penetrate the primer. Not good. Seemingly well built otherwise, but I’ll have to find a steel, not aluminum firing pin restraining nut.

I have called their 1-800 line and have left several messages. All I wanted from the TC TRIGGER CANNONS Co was the 4 parts that they had omitted from the little bag. This tool was sold by TRIP Alarm Co. ONE small order and they couldn't get it right. Their customer service can SUCK IT.
