  • Good looking, well though out Chicken Coop.
This Coop arrive with all parts, undamaged and nicely packaged. It was not difficult to put together, especially if you look at the pictures regarding what sides go where. I thought the overall package was a little light on strength as I put it together, however it did strengthen up nicely as a finished product. Good design. Nice looking. The wire gauge is nice for keeping the chickens in but will not keep out predators. You WILL need to make an enclose Run around this coop if you have any predators in your area. Overall, very nice coop. Love it. ... show more

  • Flimsy But Doable with slight modifications
This design is so cute. It's been easy to clean and easy to collect eggs. It is enough room for ten chickens to sleep, but there is no way there is enough run space for them if they are to be in there full time. So we added run space for our 10 hens. The design is adorable and very very well thought out. The coop materials are extremely flimsy themselves though. Very flimsy. Being experiencec chicken owners for a bit, we reinforced with some extra screws and door latches, and honestly... we will see how long it lasts. But I think the design and look is still exactly what we were looking for. It was EXTREMELY easy to put together. ... show more

  • Flimsy and cheap
It is fine as a starter coop but once our chickens got to adult size, this coop no longer worked well. We attempted to move at one point and the entire coop, walls and all, started to fall apart in our hands. We ended up having to reinforce doors and walls with our own lumber to hold it together so it wouldn’t fall apart or cave in. The door handle also broke off several times in the winter after the door froze shut. The nesting box dividers also broke off and wouldn’t stay in place any longer. All of this was after about 8 months of use. We did everything we could to keep this coop going but it just wasn’t worth the money. I could see it being doable if you only have a couple chickens and live in warm weather where the elements aren’t a factor. I would advocate for this coop housing no more than 4-5 chickens MAX. I wanted to like it for the price but I think coops are something you cannot buy cheap, you need to invest in a good coop and this isn’t it ... show more

  • Not impressed
The wood is soft and thin. I hold no doubt that the coop is not going to hold up for long due to it being a soft wood. No instructions per say. Only how many screws you need. Company doesn't return messages. For $700.00 it is not worth it!

  • Perfect for my 5 girls
My chicks are 6 weeks old and so far they have plenty of space. Very easy to assemble. I don’t have a very flat yard so we had to improvise a little. Very happy with my purchase! Update (01-20-23): My hens are now adults and I had to upgrade the run because this run was just way to small for 5 full grown hens. There was constant bullying because of the lack of space. The coop has held up nicely though! ... show more

  • Will work for a couple seasons.
The house has decent assembly instructions. The house material is comparable to the kiddie playhouses from Walmart. The siding is thin cedar plank. The frame work also appears to be cedar. The roof actually pretty good quality. They have asphalt shingles covering plywood. The latches are terrible I bought different ones from Home Depot. The wire mesh is held on with staples. It wouldn’t take much to push through it from the outside. Even though it is a cheaply made I think that will serve its purpose for a couple of years. I won’t buy the kit again. Next one I will build myself. I used wood glue and a pneumatic stapler instead of the screws to assemble it. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Cute
I didn't expect a well built $3000 coop but was pleasantly surprised. Easy assembly with lots of nice touchs. It will easily hold 6-8 hens. I am happy with the purchase, and would recommend.

  • You get what you pay for
It’s not what I would call a permanent coop by any means but it’ll do until you can either build a better coop or have the money for a new one.
