  • Great product
Used as mulch in flower beds this year! Good color and less chemicals. Need it in a bulk bag.

  • Easy to work with
Using in raised garden beds. Easier to work with compared to others I've used. Broke down easy and quickly. Seems to have great moisture retention. Will definitely buy again!

  • Great for worm bedding
I use it in my worm composter as bedding for the worms. Easy to soak in water to expand and good quality material..

  • As advertised
I don't think I was truly mentally prepared for how much material was actually in this brick. 3 containers, several pots and quite a bit of it on the floor later, and it was finally under control. It definitely was plenty for the front garden and I even had enough to start a few cuttings for next season! Would definitely buy again, right after I get one of those huge Rubbermaid storage containers though ... show more

  • It's full of waste material not coco coir. Looks to be 20% inert material.
This is just crap. Half the 11lb coco coir is damp and molding . Lots of leaves and other matter not coco husks . I'm losing half the block, not sure I feel OK using the half that seems not so moist. I feel it's been wet for a long time with all the mold sporing .

  • Solid
Good solid bro k of nice quality material. Took a ton of water to fully break the brick apart, Sony yea absorbing. Texture and color is true to the description and I didn’t notice any odd smells.

  • Soaks up water like it should.
You have to break it up with a garden rake, but it does soak up water. After the water recedes, though, it goes back to powder; doesn’t incorporate well with the soil.

  • Expansion
I am very pleased with this product and my plants seem to like it. I especially love that it's only 11 lbs, a manageable weight. I keep mine in a 20 gallon tote. Nope, that's not too big. After adding water to compressed brick, it expands to 18 gallons.
