This is a fan favorite in our yard with all the neighborhood kiddos. Perfect size for my toddler (3 yrs old) to get on & off the swing as well as climb. Older kids (7+) have said it’s “too small” for them lol. The only complaint is it was a lot to assemble & we did it in the blistering heat. Definitely have help, take some deep breathes & bust it out. I think It too is like 2 hours? Can’t remember lol. But once set up & staked down it’s been a hit. Highly recommend. My children enjoy the dome very much, but if you are a single parent, enlist help. I almost gave up many times. Then, I got mad enough that I couldn't let this beast conquer me. It is up, but it was a pickle to put together. Small children are very little help. They are excellent for picking up the dropped nuts, bolts, washers, and small tools provided that wear your hands out. I suggest using a socket wrench and wrench of your own(even if you have to buy them specifically for this project and never plan to use them again)to tighten the nuts and bolts through the layers of tubes tight enough to be able to put the climbing holds on. It would be nice if some of the bolts were about an ⅛ of an inch longer because of all the layers. But, we made it, and the kids are having fun. It was worth the pain and frustration. ... show more

The first time i made the purchase, I had to send it back because all the parts were not in the box. A week later another was delivered. Step 1 was very easy. But step 2 just did not make any sense. After some time we decided that the instructions were no help so we just decided to lay the blue bars down on a circle and build from there. Keep a picture of the jungle gym next to you. The instructions say 2 hours for assembly, but it takes longer. You need two people. Once it was assembled, it held us both for a total of 400 lbs.

I like the dome and my granddaughter loves it. It is a good size. Assembly well it’s rough with 2 people. 3 would be better. But I haven’t had it 2 months and parts have started to rust. Currently it is summer in NY and it is rusting. After winter when it snows. So I would say due to rusting already and we have had barely any rain. The quality I am disappointed in. ... show more

I was really excited to add this to our climbing dome. I didn’t even unwrap it before I realized it would NOT be worth the pain of assembly. You have to disassemble five “nodes” of your dome and reassemble them with the enclosed screws. As anyone knows who survived assembling one of these domes in the first place, getting everything to fit together is a very challenging task. As soon as I disassembled one “node”, I realized this accessory was going to take me at least a couple of hours, and a lot of grunting and frustration. Not worth it!! The kids are disappointed of course. Going to return it. I wish it were a design that more easily integrated into the existing structure, without having to rebuild. ... show more
