These curtains compare to brands like Pottery Barn, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, and Restoration Hardware in size, quality, color, and weight. Both panels feel luxurious and expensive. They are true blackout curtains, and the lighter lining makes a huge difference aesthetically. I ultimately landed on the Ivory Off-White (aka "Oyster"). It is slightly lighter than West Elm's LUSH VELVET Gray. PHOTO REFERENCE: Wall color = Swiss Coffee Trim color = Ultra Pure White Bedding Quilt and Shams = "Dune" from Restoration Hardware Bedding Blanket = Dark Grey and Ivory from West Elm Lampshades = Pure White Rug = pure white, light grey, and black PRO TIPS: 1) Steam the curtains. 2) Hang the curtains as close as possible to your ceiling. Make sure you have room to attach the rod. Many ceilings are 96" to 108" or higher. 3) Want to avoid a middle curtain bracket on a large window? Option A: Purchase two longer telescoping rods. Connect the two larger rods with one of the skinnier extension rods. It will act as a support beam. Ex. Buy (x2) 24"-48" curtain rods. When you place the skinner extension piece in between each 24" end rod, it creates an internal support. Option B: Purchase one telescoping rod with a minimum length that's as wide as your window. Ex. The media could not be loaded. Ok, so I bought the beige/champagne 84in curtains, but they sent me the 96in ones. I doubt that matters, but just included it to be transparent about which exact item I have. They are very heavy, soft, plush curtains and am very happy with the look and feel of them. They have a black 100% blackout liner that they then covered with a fabric liner that matched the color I ordered, so as to look good from any angle. I really like that because black liners absorb a lot of heat and where my bedroom is on the second floor and has evening sun, my room doesn't need any help getting hot. I have a light bulb that you can switch color temperature on, so I took a photo in each color temperature so you can see what it'll look like regardless of what bulbs you use. I haven't steamed the wrinkles out yet, but when you do, you'll probably need to steam from bottom to top, as that's how the "grain" smooths out on the ones I received. I think these will also help with sound dampening with how thick they are. Not disappointed at all with the quality for the price. They are more of a light khaki color, and I think taupe would've fit what I wanted better, but not going to send them back about it. ... show more

Look no further, these are the best quality velvet curtains out there! They feel and look luxurious, they have a soft dark liner and they are 100% blackout! I clipped them to the rod and they hang just below my door wall white blinds. These panels are Ivory but a cool shade which I wanted since my walls are a pale grey, they also have a little shimmer to them. I ordered 2 more Panels in the ivory and in the light grey to see which I like best, for a total of 4 panels. The fabric looks just like velvet. The neutral color on back is nice too. Totally blackout! They are very heavy so if you need a noise barrier or heat/cold to be controlled, these curtains are great. I purchased the ivory and they are so beautiful. I highly recommend these curtains.

I was really surprised how much I liked these curtains, given the very reasonable price. I just needed something simple for our guest room, and didn't have much budget to work with. These curtains are very soft, made of a heavy fabric with a good drape. The stitching is very even and secure. I'm impressed by the multiple hanging options, and ended up using the loops rather than sliding the curtain onto the rod like I expected. I really appreciate it having the option! The only two minor issues I have are that the ivory color is much more silver than ivory, and the lining makes a noisy rustling sound. They still look good enough in my guest room, and I'm pretty sure my guests won't really care about the rustling. They did take quite a while to steam out the wrinkles, though, so prepare yourself for some effort. ... show more

These are gorgeous curtains! They drape well, the velvet is heavy but not too heavy, and they give the bedroom a luxurious feel.
