As you can see it's not wrinkle free, I've washed them, dried in machine on low for a little bit then hung them to dry and they're still wrinkle. But they do the job keeping the sun out

Have to say for the price these are nice and thick. They are blackout and keep all the light out. My sliding door faces East so the sun is on it half the day and it used to get hot. Of course they aren’t sheer, since they are black out curtains. A heavy well made curtain! My husband who hung them first question, “how much did you pay for them!” Lol meaning how great they looked, the woven fabric and weight! Always having to justify my purchases hehehe! Should I have ironed them, or steamed them? Yes, but once hung in our bedroom some wrinkles came out but hangs lovely and inside of curtain is a grey color for black out effect. Incredible value! High quality finishing and a great weight. They came out of the package with a few wrinkles, but the iron took care of that quickly. We have extreme western exposure in the afternoon until sundown and have used vinyl shades and Roman blinds with limited success. These do a great job of taking the hard edge and the heat of the sunlight down to almost nothing with a vinyl blind behind them they are light cancelling. Really do block out all light. They are a little "stiff" or I'm not sure quite what the word is to describe the feel of these, but from a distance they look like regular fabric. They are not a "flow-y" type fabric at all, but look clean and block the light really well.
