I purchased this in December 2015. Its now July 2016. There are a few imperfections on the body- mostly over "points" or raised areas of what I am covering , but some of the rivet holes have popped off already so its hard to hold the tarp down with ties or bungee cords in some places.

I purchased this piece of crap in late 2016 for use beginning May of 2017. When I put it up, two grommets ripped out. I called the manufacturer who told me that there was no warranty on it even though I explained that it was never used. They basically told me that it was my tough luck and they wouldn't do anything about it. Since I had already put the tarp up, I repaired the two grommets myself using extra heavy duct tape as a reinforcement. I took it down in Sept 2017 and today (5-4-18) wen to put it back up. This time, another grommet ripped out and took about 3 feet of the "reinforcing" rope that was sewn into it with it. Needless to say, my opinion is that this is a total waste of money and the company will not stand behind their product. RIPOFF!!!! ... show more

So far, it's repelling the water as expected. I even had a lower area that the water pooled up and I had to raise the tarp and dump the water out. so, it is definitely waterproof as it was dry under the tarp.
