I am a beginner clay artist so I can't judge the quality of the set too well, but so far I have been impressed. The blades are sharp and came with carry cases, they do not have any handles or markings to indicate which is the dull side, so you have to be very careful handling them. They cut canes well without distorting the design too much. The rollers are SOLID!! The first set I got came with this crappy hollow tube for a roller but these are nice solid acrylic. The acrylic plates are handy as well. I didn't think I would need the needle tool but it has already come in handy as a hole punch while I wait to get a hand drill. Overall, I like this set but I find the blades to be a bit dangerous with a poor design. It’s hard to tell what side is sharp, meaning you could easily get cut. I’m used to a blade that clearly has side to hold and a side to cut. I also don’t find the very long blades necessary. I have only used the shorter one ... show more

These are good sturdy pieces. A great value. The only thing I wasn't 100% on was how small the flat pieces are. But, honestly, I didn't pay full attention to the dimensuons in the product description, so...that's on me. Otherwise, good enough!
