So this brand of Clay is my FAVORITE, and the package came pretty early, however the packaging this came in was shot as hell and terrible. The clay was melted from heat into soft mush, which isn't necessarily the sellers fault because yknow global warming and I live in Texas. But this also isn't really different after baked like "effect" clay normally is. Looks about the same. Really pretty pastel shades but I'm sad there was no "effect" ... show more

Staedtler makes such great arts and crafts materials. It's my favorite brand. But WOW! The clay came and was (is!) terrible: dry and hard as if it had been partially baked already. Conditioning it was virtually impossible. Even with a few drops of oil and several minutes of kneading...absolutely unuseable. Most likely very old. I don't blame Staedtler/Fimo - I blame the seller - they knew they were sending out crappola. Buyer beware!!! ... show more
