I was so excited to upgrade my car with this! I love how easy it was to set up, the screen clarity is crystal clear, it’s nice and bright and I can see it well even when the sun is shining on it, and the touch screen works great too!

Installed this in my 2008 Mercury Mountaineer (like a Ford Explorer) to replace my aging sync 1. The factory maps were out of date and the screen was getting dim. So I removed the original radio (I used you tube for instructions on the removal)...I had to order a Metra Dash kit & Wiring harness adapter. I soldered all the connections and then heat shrink wrapped them. This made it basically plug and play - no cutting or splicing the factory harnesses. I also ordered a steering wheel control kit for it as well so I could retain the factory settings. Pairing the radio with my iPhone was very easy as well. I can stream current google maps or whatever app you use for navigation directly on the radio screen. I can also stream music from Pandora, Sirius XM or whatever music app you like to use. The 10" screen is nice and bright and very responsive. The only thing I had noticed is that when I first turn the radio on it makes a crackling/thumping noise through the amplifier. Not sure why it does that? This radio was an affordable upgrade for my vehicle...Pretty happy with it so far. Quick update: it quit connecting to my iPhone both wirelessly and wired. I’m returning it for a replacement. I will keep the wiring harness so I don’t have to solder everything again. I hope it was just a faulty radio unit. ... show more

This radio was a little tricky for me to install but then again I’m not a technician by any means. The instructions are minimal but just enough. There is plenty of info on google and the wiring is standard. Make sure to get the right wiring harness for your vehicle. The radio did work with my existing double din kit but I did have to run it opposite the direction indicated in the instructions. Sound quality is good. Initially the radio was not really loud at all but then I realized that you normally have to go into your Spotify and YouTube music and set your settings to play your music louder as it usually default at normal. Backup camera kicks on fast and boots up quick. Let’s see how this holds up. ... show more

This is a really cool gadget. It connects to car play and you can use it for music, calls, etc. It also uses voice control through Siri (I think Google assistant, too). It has a very nice touch screen display that is clearly visible during daylight, too. It also has connectivity to Airplay or MirrorCast. Got this for my lady’s 2015 Nissan Sentra for Christmas and she loves it!!!She has an Apple iPhone and was always complaining about the cheap oem car stereo that was in the Sentra not being too loud and the display was dead.well I did a little research and came upon this specific head unit and let me tell you,she loves it!!!Especially not that she doesn’t have to use a usb cable to connect to the old radio anymore.I did the install and it was pretty straightforward just keep in mind that you will need a kit for the wiring but other than that,easy peasy!Only thing I didn’t like is the call quality I could hear her when she was parked but once she started driving it wasn’t audible much.even with the supplied mic that they give you for free didn’t really make a difference,but no biggie.She just uses her AirPods when she calls me. Problem solved.the sound quality is amazing!I think I’m gonna buy one to update my car’s current radio as well.oh yeah it’s also compatible with android of course.Dont pass this one up especially if it’s on sale! ... show more

I have not installed an aftermarket car stereo since 1986, but I thought can't be that hard right? It wasn't - but here's the most important item - make sure you have the correct after market dash kit! These guys give you a couple of resources to find your kit - use them to find yours. I installed this unit in a 2015 Jeep wrangler. It was a little tricky getting the unit into it's final resting place - which makes the correct install kit must. All of the various wires were properly identified which makes connecting to the vehicle components a breeze.. Once powered on, the Bluetooth connection with the Android was painless. Google maps, Amazon musics, pod bean, etc. - all the stuff I use everyday works great. If you have any hesitation about this unit - don't. As a bonus l, I took advantage of registering for the free 2 year warranty. The folks processing this request were very responsive and friendly. I don't usually leave 5 stars, but so far there is no reason not to. If that changes I will update the review. ... show more
