We purchased these DVD players for our Kia Telluride. They have been great. The kids are able to use them without help. They open in a clamshell style, which makes them very easy to use. My kids haven't needed to use the remotes yet. They are very easy to take off once installed if you want to keep them safe while parking for long periods. The DVD players only work when the vehicle is on, which hasn't been an issue. The DVDs keep their location in the videos when the vehicles are turned off, which is great. The only negative has been the volume is low, so my kids have trouble hearing their movies if I have the radio on. If I turn the audio off in the back of my vehicle then they are fine. ... show more

    • Better than my expectations
We upgraded our car (goodbye minivan years) to a midsize SUV and sadly found out rear entertainment is being phased out. We make many long car trips a year to visit out of state family and some form of entertainment is a must. We didn't like the idea of an iPad per kid and the dealer wanted >2K for their solution, which was permanently out (we don't use the DVD player except for longer trips), which another no for me. These dual DVD screens checked all the boxes. Love that we can bring movies on a USB stick as well as DVDs, that was important (and much more size efficient). Installation was easy, a quick tutorial for my kids (8 and older) and they can handle attaching and detaching the monitor themselves if desired. The cords are a little bit of everywhere, but we knew and accepted that before purchasing. I do wish there was a USB power attachment since our car has a USB charger at every seat, that would make the cord situation better, I think there's something I can buy though if I care enough to research it. I also have my kids use earbuds, connected to each screen, so I can't review the sound from the unit. Overall, very happy with this purchase! ... show more

    • Really solid set-up
We were in a pinch before a road trip, our older set (different brand) went out. This is a very good screen size and very good picture quality. The headrest mounting is solid and convenient. Make for easy screen install and removable. We even brought along video games that the kids set up through the system, very cool!! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the sound. Whether you listen through the screen speakers or headphones, it's pretty soft. Which I get, it's probably for safety reasons while driving. But it was actually so quiet, I almost thought something was wrong with it. Overall good, solid, reliable system at a great price point. I would recommend. ... show more

The all in one to include headphones, remotes, and mounting brackets is great! I have had two trips since purchase, all has worked and been really entertaining. The braces that are holding the monitors are really effective. No movement and no damage to headrest or bars under headrest, very efficient. ... show more

The DVD player works ok. We have to keep headphones on just to hear it. The volume is horrible! It messes up at times and we have to reset the DVD player.

Love the portable DVD players for my kids that fight over what movies to watch in the car and they can now watch whatever they want. The price was great also which included the head phones and remotes for each player.

    • Worth the money!
I shopped around for weeks before I purchased this! We used these for our vacation and it was a life saver! Easy install and to uninstall, both kids could watch what they wanted at the same time, the headphones were a win for me because who wants to listen to 2 different movies + the radio! Cords are super long so it will reach the very back of a Tahoe and a Toyota siena! Does have to be charging constantly to work only downfall and have a plug that is a constant power source cause when you turn car off they turn off as well! But other than that works like a charm! ... show more
