Totally should buy this scale because it just works the right way, connects to your phone by Bluetooth, accurately measures your weight (verified by the doctor’s office scale), and keeps lots of history and data in the app on your phone which is easy to understand and read. You DON’T need to have a phone to use the scale, but all the extra data shows up in your phone. I use an iPhone works great. I just simply don't review a lot of amazon products, but believe I should on this one. Here's why. This scale is very affordable, and might seem to folks it's not a good scale, but it is. I cannot speak to all of the body stats (I have not had a dexa scan to compare); but I can speak to the weight. I'm lucky, my doc is very close to my house. On multiple and various occasions, my entire family has stepped on the scale then went to our doc and stepped on the traditional beam scale. It's ALWAYS within .5 to 1 pound! VERY impressive! I searched high & low, read & read about the composition scales; was prepared to spend upwards of $100 on the "fancy scale" but the reviews were terrible. I thought, for around $30 for the 1ByOne, I wouldn't feel bad if it didn't work. We're 4 months in now still works great. We don't have a place to keep it out, we have to tuck it away, so even with moving it each time we use it, it's still accurate. What I like best is that many have do a lot of the recording on the scale, have different users and whatnot, this only gives you the weight on the actual scale (and it's easily visible), and records the body composition stats to the phone via bluetooth. It's surprisingly quick to connect, even quicker than wireless headphones and other devices that their whole purpose is to connect via bluetooth. The ONLY negative thing I can say is the body composition stats, are a bit inconsistent. I've gotten slightly different results, but not huge differences; but I can't say any other body composition scale would do any better! ... show more

This is my second time purchasing a scale by this brand. I really like it is super convenient to use and track my weight info. My friend tried my scale and loved it so I got this for her. It’s a great scale if you are trying to tone up since it tells you your body fat % and muscle mass.

Before I decided to buy this, I made sure I read a lot of the reviews. Most people with problems noted that they couldn't connect to the app. I hope this info helps you, so you don't cast this product aside based on your own mistake. - The instructions provide a QR code to download the app, along with what the icon looks like. For Apple devices, no problem here. For Android, the code sends you to an updated version with a different icon. The play store has 3 different versions of the app: the one the QR code sends you, the one with the icon example, and a completely different one. The different one doesn't work, but the other 2 do. - Make sure your Bluetooth is on and the app is open when stepping on the scale (with bare feet, or it will only read your weight). When you see your weight and the flashing Bluetooth icon on the scale, press the Bluetooth icon on the app. The app will then connect to the scale. Don't try to pair it using the system settings! It works more like a Bluetooth-on-demand sort of thing. - CALIBRATE IT FIRST!!! My wife freaked out because it said she was 10 lbs heavier. I placed a 25 lb dumbbell on the scale and it read 29.8 lbs. I then read the instructions about calibrating it and once I did, the 25 lb. dumbbell read 25.2 lbs. - If there are more than one of you using the scale, don't stand next to each other with both of you having the app open or it will try to connect to the last users phone. When it sends the data, it always will asks you if you want to import the data, so you won't have to worry about it recording the wrong info. - I would have given it 5 stars if it would connect to some of the fitness apps out there. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Simple to setup. This is more accurate than the previous ones that i had. With the previous one, the numbers always changing but not with this. The app is super easy to use. It looks really nice and flat. The glass makes it look high quality built. It is also very light and small. It fits anywhere in my smaller bathroom. UPDATE: Had to give them a couple of more stars. This company really stands behind their products. They felt so bad about their error in their app user agreement, that they shipped another one out to me if I will try it out again. Another update coming soon. Gave the product a star because of the email I received. Glad to read that companies pay attention to reviews "... the sections of the privacy agreement you posted are specifically for the Chinese market and Chinese consumers.
