What I received in the package: 1 x ZUMIMALL DZEES Security Camera 1 x Mounting Bracket 1 x Solar Panel 4 x Screws 4 x Anchors 1 x microUSB Cable 1 x Reset Pin 1 x User Manual This ZUMIMALL DZEES Security Camera product is a wireless WiFi camera that is fit for both outdoor and indoor use. It is IP65 rating, which means it gives protection against low pressure water jets from any direction. As well as condensation and water spray. It has 1080P HD and both motion detection and night vision. It comes with two storage options, using a MicroSD Card (up to 128GB) and you can also purchase a subscription to a Cloud Service for storage. The camera also offers 2-Way Audio. The camera has an internal 6700 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that can last up to 5 months depending on usage. It also has a LED light that can be toggled by the app or set to turn on when motion is detected. It also comes with an alarm option with the same features as the light. All controllable/configurable by the app. The camera provide 130 degrees wide angle view. This camera was heavier than I expected and most of that weight is probably the battery. The unit didn’t come with a charge on it. So I plugged it in and about 8 hours later it was fully charged. That was the only thing that took any time. I installed the round metal mount. I liked the quick removal and replacement for charging purposes. The camera has a dome shaped magnet in the back of it. So it snaps right into place and you just move it to where you want to point it and it stays. The magnet is strong and that camera is not going anywhere. It took about 2 minutes to install. It took about 2 minutes to download the app and register. Once that occurs you can attempt to detect the camera once you turn it on. Pairing and configuration was intuitive and straight forward. I had a working camera and app in less than 5 minutes. The camera resolution is quite nice for a wireless camera and in testing, all features and functions performed as expected. The camera will send a notification to your phone when it detects motion so you can check the app immediately and see what is going on. Also it saves the recordings or photos which are accessible from the app. You are able to listen to an activity near the camera or talk to guests in the back yard. The volume is not very loud .. however, it is clear enough to be heard. The night vision has a 33’ range is relatively clear. The 1080P HD is also impressive for a wireless camera. The view does have a slight fish eye view to it. The battery life of the camera is not that great. So to me, being able to charge it with the solar panel is a plus. The solar panel trickle charges the unit and is enough to keep it up and running. Without the solar panel I had to take it down after about 3-4 days to recharge if you have all the bells and whistles turned on for this unit. The one feature that I does care for about this camera is that this camera comes with a screw on pedestal mount. Previous versions of their cameras came with a magnetic mount … which I thought was genius. Not sure why they moved away from that design but I preferred that mounting option much better. The manufacturer offers a 3-Year Warranty on the product. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this is my fourth Zumimall camera and they are all good and the product is only getting better year after year. For the price I have found these cameras to be amazing. I have ordered a fifth one for the other side of my back yard. It comes with an excellent quality picture and is absolutely wireless. One of the best remote cameras I have come across. Highly recommend this product for the price point. I have not found a better camera for the money. Unless you require pan and tilt or motion follow, this manufacturer is one of my top picks. For its price, this is a robust security camera that works as advertised, with only a few minor quirks. The setup is very easy and only took a couple of minutes to pair the camera with the Zumimall app on my iPhone. The camera connects to whatever wi-fi signal your phone is using at the time of setup, as long as its a 2.4GHz signal—it is not compatible with 5GHz wi-fi. Once the camera is linked to the app, it shows up as a device that you can select. Once selected it typically takes a few seconds to load the stream. Occasionally it takes a little longer or fails to connect and I have to retry, but this could easily be an issue with my Asus wifi mesh system—its difficult to say just yet. The stream is HD and looks good with nice colors during the day. When you turn your phone to landscape, the stream goes full screen. I’d say it looks like a solid 1280x720 image, but not sharp enough to look like 1920x1080, probably do to optics limitations or compression. You can also switch to SD, presumably to use less bandwidth if desired. Once the camera is streaming to the app, you can choose between a “Live” tab or a “History” tab which will show a list of any recordings the camera has made to the micro SD card (sold separately). The micro SD card is a little tricky to put in or take out because the slot is slightly inset on the back of the camera. I end up using tweezers to insert or remove it. There is also a “Cloud” tab to review cloud recordings if you are paying for the close service, which is $4.99 per month per camera. There is no way to manage your cloud recordings though. It would be nice if there was a way to delete certain recordings if you so desired, but there does not seem to be an interface for that. It would also be nice if you could review and manage recordings through a web browser login. Bottom line is I would like to feel more in control of my recordings. The recordings are triggered by motion detection, which has a sensitivity setting from 1 to 10. When set to 9, I was getting a good deal of recordings triggered by minor events, or perhaps rustling tree leaves. You can also specify how long each motion detection event is recorded—10seconds, 20seconds, or 30seconds—and wether or not you want an interval between alarm events (none, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes). I keep the interval turned off so that a new recording can begin just a second or 2 after the last recording ends, if motion is still being detected. On the downside, I’ve found that the first 2 or 3 seconds of motion are not recorded, presumably while the camera activates its record function, which means the camera is not continuously buffering video. The recordings on the SD card can be viewed in the app wether or not you are at home or somewhere out in the world and wether using wi-fi or on cellular data. There is no additional setup for this, it just works. Event recordings can be saved to your phone’s album by playing back a video and pressing a record button in the app. This saves the video to an album within the app, and from there the video can be exported to your phone’s album. Its a bit cumbersome, but it does allow you to record just the bits you want. The app will send you notifications every time a motion detection event occurs, or you can turn that off in the camera settings. You can also turn it off in your phone’s notification settings. If you do that, but keep the notifications turned on in the camera settings, you will get audible motion alerts if the app is opened. One big checkmark in the plus category is the company’s responsiveness. They have been answering my email questions within a day or 2. As for the solar panel, it works. I installed the camera 3 weeks ago, and as of yesterday evening, the battery shows 5 out of 5 bars. It was 4 out 5 bars a few days ago, but then I realized that as we are moving closer to winter, the solar panel was becoming shaded by a neighbor’s tree earlier and earlier in the afternoon. So I moved the panel a few few to compensate. The camera comes with about 7 (estimated) feet of wire to allow the solar panel to be moved away from the camera to a more optimum location. The two-way audio works, but it is subject to network lag, plus the volume is not all that loud if the camera is outdoors, which is not surprising for a speaker inside a small camera. Night vision also works well and looks good, and the camera can be set to automatically switch to night vision when the ambient light levels have dropped. You can link multiple cameras to the app and monitor multiple cameras on screen at the same time. ... show more
